Have you ever seen the boho hippie shorther than 22? I'm looking for 16 to 18 inch. Im afraid of cutting the hair.

MzHoney Vee hey girl! I had gotten rid of the packaging by the time I decided I would actually do the video. If you watch the video in its entirety, I inserted clips of the hair & packaging. 😊

Can you cut the hair/braids?

Hmm, I wouldn’t recommend cutting them. The way they’re made, they are braided down to where the hair gradually thins out. If you cut it, I imagine it’d give a weird thick, blunt look.

How did you prevent the braids from slipping out????

If it’s crocheted correctly, it should be secure enough to where it does not slip out. If you find your knot is getting loose as time goes on, I would just say pull it to tighten it back up a little. 😊

Markeda Miller I used 3 packs of the boho hippie braids & 3 of the regular box braids - two of those packs were the double packs.

Ni.x0 I think it could help, I never really tried it though. I only used mousse.

Jena Alexis mousse is a good idea! i never even thought about that. i’m going on vacation tomorrow and the curls are already a little frizzy. thanks!

I installed these on Saturday and Oh-Em-G they're super itchy. I get this brand all the time and this is the first time this has happened. My scalp is itchy and even when they touch my skin it itches :(

idealsweetlove oh no, I’m so sorry this is happening to you! I didn’t have this reaction but I have friends who have had that kinda of irritation after getting braids. Usually, it’s recommended to dip synthetic hair in an apple cider vinegar/water mixture to get rid of the chemicals but since you’ve already installed yours, I’d say try the Cantu Apple Cider Vinegar Root Relief Oil. It’s on Amazon but you can probably find it at your local beauty supply store. Hope that helps!

This is so pretty. What was the other style of braids you used? The ones with the straight ends. Do you remember that brand and name of them?

Yoli 858 it was just braids going back. the front where the individuals are was sectioned off first then the remaining - straight back cornrows. They were on the smaller side

red7iris that was my biggest worry. I would absolutely do it that same way again. I just think all that curly synthetic hair would be a headache.
