My heartiest congratulations on being selected for the Polsky Award.. it’s most fitting for you…and well deserved My parents were very good friends of the Polsky’s… my mother worked for the store as a model. I remember many a fun Sunday afternoon with them. Bless you, Froncie Repetti

Incredibly timely fireside homily for me, as I’m about to experience “dramatic change” on Pentecost Sunday when I enter into the Catholic Church. Glory to Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit unto God the Father!

Enjoy your vacation, Father! And I hope you get to sleep in. 😃
Congratulations to Father Gideon! May you take and follow the words of Pope Francis: be rooted in Jesus Christ-don't forget to pray; stay close to the people you serve by smelling like the sheep-you are to serve not lord over them, avoid careerism and clericalism-don't get any sense of clergy entitlement and superiority over the laity, continuously read and study especially the scriptures so you always deliver quality homilies, be attuned to and apply the reforms and teachings of Vatican II-don’t desire having grandmother laces and guitar shaped vestments and appear like liturgical clowns. And (not Francis’ words, now my own) in light of the ongoing crisis and scandal: don’t be enticed and get trapped in the quagmire of the gay lavender mafia within the Church which is at the root of and operation of the homosexual predation sex abuse scandal by the clergy and cover up by bishops.

Deacon Robin, I enjoyed your lengthy homily. I just want to thank you and let you know my feelings. If I may speak on behalf of the Mark Heffernan Division of the AOH, I would like to say we are privileged to have you as an ordinary member yet we consider it extraordinary to have as our Deacon and provide our homily at our meetings. We are blessed. We acknowledge that fact. And we thank you for what you do for us. And I thought the world of your mother. Thanks. Your buddy.

Fr. Norm, thank you for this message. With the change in the seasons, I hope that I can re-join those Saturday morning group meetings that you mentioned. Something that I find interesting in the Scripture that you talked about, where Jesus travels through Samaria, is that while He cured the leper (something that he understood as not being caused by sin), at no time did he try to change the Samaritans, to make them no longer Samaritans. All too often, we in the LGBTQ community are welcomed into the church, but with the stipulation that we must change our sexuality. But, just as God created the Samaritans as Samaritans, God created me to be transgender. Not only can I not change my gender identity, something that I believe God created, but I believe that it would be a sin to try to do so.
