nice video, im going to be putting my cinelli superstar soon ,only I have the Campagnolo chorus 12 speed group set, I was wondering what was the liquid you used on the frame when you installed the BB cups? was it locktite? and is it neccessary to use that on the Campy installation? I hope to hear from you, thanks.

nice video :) thank you. how toght do you torque that compression plug in the steerer? manufacturer says 9-12nm, but I always feel like breaking the steerer if I try to use a torque wrench.

So the cutting of the carbon steerer warrants use of a respirator. But he's just doing it on the bench in the workshop and the dust is going everywhere.

Hi. Nice build. Where did you cut the steerer, exactly where you marked it or did you remove a few more mm? Just curious because this is not a traditional top cap. Thanks!

*Looked at a lot of options for getting my **Latest.Bike** . Great find in SAVA. Super light, nice components, really good value as it comes with many options only found in much higher priced bikes.*

I'll take my Motobecane Le Tour Ti with its tapered head tube, oval top tube and larger D-shaped downtube with Dura-Ace 9000 components that I paid $2999 in 2015 and cherried it out with a carbon cockpit and deep 6.5 Bontranger carbon wheels and tubular rims.

Nice build, hope to have mine by the end of February. Can you have spacers above the stem to test the fit for awhile, before cutting the steerer tube?
@BuildLab
@BuildLab 3 жыл бұрын
unfortunately you cant. We'd suggest just keeping max spacers until you've had a bike fit/ready to trim it down further.

Hello seascape. How did you get on with your new wilier. What’s your opinion on the wilier in-house wheel set? Thanks.

@@larrymcdonald6419 Wilier’s great - stiff & comfortable, about 15.5 lbs in size small with Garmin Vector 3 pedals.I only bought the frame, and built it with 12-speed DA and Princeton Carbonworks Peak 4550 wheel set, because I read some negative reviews of the stiffness on the different Wilier wheels. That said, it would be a lot easier to buy a complete Wilier built bike, because I did have a few small quality issues, which were fixable but unexpected for the price, and finding the right stem and bar with totally concealed wiring was overly troublesome. Let me know if you want more info. No regrets, lots of smiles!
