I know this is an old video, curious if you are able to use these rearsets to convert to GP/Reverse shifting?

Nice work 🎊 keeping her up and maintained ..! How much adjusting did it take after you had them mounted up after the first ride …? And now they are working flawlessly..??? And are you still scraping the pavement at all ..??? Thx for sharing ✊✊✊⚙️🛠️😋👍

Hi thanks for the video. Do you still ride that bike? Any issues with the rearsets? I have 2023 z900 and want to adjust my foot position but can't find too much about it and saw your video. Do you think Arashi brand is ok?

I was thinking initially the front wheel didn't look right but when you explained it and it turns on a dime I understand. Doesn't it make it unstable though is my only thought? Also how difficult would it be to fully automate it so it can function all by itself. Honestly this is a great solution a lot of the vids I've seen they get over engineered making silky tracks or components you need a 20k lathe to build. This is nice.

Not sure if you are still taking questions about your mower, but can you send a schematic of the electronics hook up if possible, I want to finally build one thinking of doing a battery powered mower though

Hey, great video and thanks a ton for sharing. I'm considering picking these up because I also want a higher, more rearward peg setup like a sportbike. In your opinion, did these do the trick for you with respect to that?

Why didn't you put a water jacket over the motor, are where you not worried about motor heat

I had the same problem. did not understand why it kept beeping and not working. Now I do. Just had the idea in my head that this esc was able to go backwards too. but no. that are the other small ones I have for brushed motors. those I can program to go backwards or not. Thanks for clearing up my memory. nothing more frustrating than having a problem and not understanding why it occurs. Thanks!!

Hey thanks for posting this it helped me with my install. I have a z900rs and installed some rearsets from a brand called sniper I got from Japan-webike. But the install was basically the same. Installing the side with the rear brake is little trickier than the side with the shifter.

What the reason behind decision to use outrunner motor, not inrunner? You can buy 3650 inrunner motor and ESC combo under $50. It fit perfectly instead 540 motor. And those motors has high KV - over 4000, which mean you can reuse existing gears and shaft. I probably will go this way to upgrade my Radio Shack Tsunami.

The best build I have seen!! Mechanics, electric, electronics, all is so well done. Are there any problems with the electronics because of vibration from the engine?
@crawfordmediacompany12492 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It was fun to build and use. I didn’t have any vibration issues. I mounted the control boards on plastic standoffs so that helped isolate them even more.

Great Job! I agreed with DGB "best one so far I've seen". I've been searching for the sabertooth motor driver, no were to be found and Amazon - not available. Please recommend another motor driver brand\model or were i can order from. Thank you

Thanks! I just googled sabertooth motor driver and a few website retailers came up. They seem to be readily available from robotics suppliers. Good luck with the build it’s definitely fun!

Hey my man, know this is an old video but how are the rearsets holding up? Also, did they make you feel more cramped on the bike or less cramped? Does the positioning slam your nuts into the gas tank? And did they solve the issue with the 900 of the brake lever being way too high?
@crawfordmediacompany12493 жыл бұрын
They are great. I have a few thousand miles on them now. I wouldnt say I feel cramped now but more sporty. No nut slamming. They definitely lower the brake lever compared to stock.

yo very good job and very nice rclm i start build mine i have all mechanical parts i want know if you accept to share your wiring plan and i want know why you don't put a alternator for reloading the batteries in mowing
@crawfordmediacompany12493 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Sorry I did not have a wiring plan in writing. An alternator was not necessary because I found I could mow my lawn 3 or more times before needing to recharge the batteries. In reality I never had any issue because when I was done mowing i plugged in a battery charger.

is this list all I need? will be my first build, let me know if I need any special tools had my boat 20 years still works, now wanna play with my son.
@crawfordmediacompany12493 жыл бұрын
That should be it. Tools i used include drill hot glue gun soldering iron Dremel and basic small hand tools. For kids a cheap amazon self righting boat would be a good option. This boat is overpowered and crazy for what it is.

@@crawfordmediacompany1249 Coming from sport bikes too, doing the same thing as you, trying to make my Z900RS more like my past rockets. Doing the clip-ons first then rear sets if needed. Wish someone (Japan) would make a cafe racer ready to go with superbike power and handling 150+H/P low bars, rear sets. At least with the standards like your Z900 and the 2021 CB1000R you can get closer to superbike performance out of the box. Thanks for the video, very to the point and helpful. I’ll check for some Chinese made rear sets like yours for my bike but so far have only found $600 Japanese made ones available

Hi , how did you mount the wheels ?
@crawfordmediacompany12493 жыл бұрын
They are connected to the motor hubs with lug nuts. The motors have bolt holes for where they mount to an electric wheelchair so I just bolted them yo my frame.
