The homelink button starts off flashing fast green when holding button down after 30 seconds it changes to orange. Mine seems to be backwards... any ideas?

Why do you need an in-car button, if you have a remote? What's the goddamned point? What happened to just programming it from the fucking box?

It doesn't work unless you push the learn button on the actual door opener. Poor video . Find one that shows that extra step needed.

Here's what worked for me for the RX350L and a Python: 1. Get the homelink button to learn the Garage Opener remote signal a. Hold button 1 & 3 for 10 seconds to reset the memory of the buttons b. Drive away from your garage so that you can do the next step c. Hold button #1 (orange light blinks slowly) while repeatedly press the Garage Opener Remote until the green light blinks quickly. 2. Get the Garage Opener device to learn the Signal emitted by the Homelink button (that it just learned) a. Drive back to your garage b. Open the Garage Opener cover, press the Learn button once c. Immediately (or in a few seconds), go inside the car and press Homelink Button #1. Wait for a couple seconds, press Homelink button #1 again. (Or press the Homelink button #1 once more to be sure)

Totally misleading information. If your garage opener has a rolling code (which 99% of them do now), you need to press the learn button on the garage opener motor first before pressing the button in the vehicle.

Is there anyway to program it without the remote, or do I have to get a new remote as we misplaced the one we had and had always just used the previous car we had

Is clearing all codes the same as the last system holding down the two outer buttons for ten seconds?
