Had a 98 C5 with 2.73 gears. The gearing is so tall you have to pick your speeds to maximize the cars ability. I ended up supercharging (A&A Corvette/Vortech V3si) and putting in an RPM trans and 3.42 diff. The car was pretty nasty.
