The blast beats are fine, the last album was only ok among dozens of female fronted metalcore bands this era. You truly have to be hungry and want it bad enough to get it these days, you can't just have a girl singer. It's run its course and played out. The vocals in this one seem to have more passion. The gutturals are more guttural, the cleans more soaring(less nerdy power metal). Musically the heavier parts are a treat here and there like early Oceans(they mistakenly dropped the blast beats on later releases). Your evolution seems to be moving in the right direction though, great stuff. I recommend Acrostichones second album Sentenced for some good inspiration(keep some clean vocals too though, if you've got it use it.) Can't wait til this album drops, impressive transition.
