Great player. I love that he is a wonderful interpreter of Bach, and is an organist at the church of St. Thomas, Leipzig, where Bach was organist.

Sounds like there is a lot to conducting. Many years required to learn so many aspects of it. It must be such an emotional inner and other feeling when doing it! 😀❤

Bonjour Jean philippe Te souviens tu de moi ?? Ange Trigo ...

The Art of Conducting? From a 23 year old kid? Seriously?! Nice media stunt folks! Remember, you need to live a life before delving into, and communicating in depth what is in between the notes. You need a lot of ups- and downs in life too, like 3-4 divorces, wich is not the same as 3-4 One-Night-Stands a week! So, grow up first, as a person, then as a musician, and preferably simultaneously, as Giulini used to say to his young students, and be back in 20-30 years, then we'll see where you've landed, concerning depth and conviction. For the moment you're appearing as a cocky wet-nosed Cash Cow €€€ 🐂, while somewhere in a small office, somebody is earning a lot of money on you. Regards and best luck!

Quite incredible to hear how he speaks with a Scottish English accent now after working so much with his co-conductor of Les Arts Florrisants, Paul Agnew

I'd say William Christie speaks in a Mid-Atlantic light American accent. I don't detect Scottish myself. I believe he is French-American.

@@clavichord i know he is french- american but the Scottish accent from Paul is absolutely there. compare this video with a video of him speaking english just 10 years ago to hear the difference

Some things to know about #TarmoPeltokoski: • He enjoys pasta and tea • He loves city life and enjoys the mountains (Verbier Festival, you know what that means...) • He prefers Marvel over DC • his three things in classical concerts: Orchestra, live concert, and a conductor's baton on his hand. • The most interesting part? He prefers music interpretation more than composing it, even if he has his own compositions since his early years... Now, I can imagine Tarmo enjoying a delicious pasta dish with a cup of warm tea on the side, while listening to his favorite Wagner recording on vinyl and enjoying the beautiful city life view in the nighttime.
