I agree with you that people are afraid of change and evolution is inevitable but you forget that the current evolution is highly gate keeped, and manipulated to support political agenda pushed forward through propaganda and lobbyism. Ai exist since the 80s yet its today used to kill creativity, and lower once again the knowledge of younger generations without speaking of all the agendas around national security, privacy and finance. AI is not the problem the usage of it is and people would be better not to accept it, because of the mentality of those who are behind. Calling the basic population 'the useless' and refusing this rule for themselves for proof most of countries where the development is tested is in poor countries or dictatorships. It was just a comment on your intro as someone whos born in the richest country and is used seeing elite manipulation of opinion and politics. These subjects are better left alone if the research is not done, follow the money not the media.
