@@shinigamimiroku3723 the issue was on my end actually; I'm glad you can actually be heard though, unlike poor GladoS I fixed it in the second recording/stream we did, but unfortunately _my_ voice is the muffled one then.

@Telcontar86 The game overall was a nice bump in difficulty without being unrecognizable. Kinda feels a bit like Pokémon Crystal Legacy, a romhack I picked up recently that rebalances the game to be more challenging while not being a "Kaizo"-style kick in the pants.

I thought about just skipping it, then realized that the comedic timing potential was pretty good lol I might have to upload a playthrough of Fusion, apparently I completed a low pick-up playthrough the first time through by accident lol

@@Telcontar86 Yeah, the comedic timing was definitely perfect. It's a shame, though, because I absolutely LOVE the underwater theme from DKC. Ooh, that sounds like a tale worth telling. I *REALLY* enjoyed Metroid Dread, and (despite the constant radio silence) and really excited for Prime 4!

Honestly the final boss lacks the impact of the Lady even though there's a lot more to it. I'll give credit where it's due, the final scene is melancholy and effective

I'd wager it's the first one. Combined with a healthy dose of "The real world is a huge and scary place" Nordic people also have a pretty strong handle on what is frightening without jumpscares

Thanks! I think it's interesting that most of the Lost World was designed better than some of the later levels. Blue Burn is actually pretty good once you get past the opening

I wasn't going to throw away the 9 hours I'd spent recording lol. I abused the savestate function a lot more on this stage than any of the others

I think the cannon designs are meant to be reminiscent of battleships, which is why you see pipes underneath (to simulate turrets) and multiple cannons on several places. Anyway, congratulations on beating SMB3! It's been a fun experience, and you can bet I'll be working through the game myself before long... Now, if only I can figure DaVinci Resolve out...
