That’s not 1 cm closer to 2 cm , still a good cut ,but some porcelain cuts Alot easier than others

Would be more impressed if he was cutting 10-15mm off a full tile. A tiler would never have the need cut rips that way,

It's clearly a tile cutter. This cut is incredibly hard to do as the tile is long and narrow and to get it to split like that is neat.

Thanks. I have never worked with tile so I didn't understand the purpose. I now recognize it as a score and snap type operation.
