Such a disappointment that they perform with a vocal backing track... Saw them live a few months ago and the performance was disappointing. A shame as the album is so good.

the vocal processing on the record is part of the sound. in my opinion, you kind of have to have it in the performance or the songs wouldn't sound right.

What's with the screaming? Don't get me wrong, I love a good screamer, and given the dreaminess of it all, I'd be really interested in hearing a juxtaposition between emo-screamo meets AR Kane, like he's screaming into the atmospherics from the bottom of a well. I love the album, and so I hate to say this, but the live performances, I wish I hadn't seen them. I see this amazing act on the verge of breaking out, and there's a self sabotaging white guy while his partner (think it may be ex significant other/main music collaborator) managed to hold it together while he acts like a brat. And look, I totally get stage fright, but find a way to manage that doesn't involve actively ruining for everyone this amazing thing you made. And it's not just screaming, it's that shrill screech that makes me want to claw my eyes out!😭

I just discovered Jim after being a fan of Bailey and Conners and finding all kinds of great stuff. This is the type of music/sounds I aspire to make as guitarist. Thank you.
