Bloody SGT Bakers. Theres been a few snapper and trevs around the shallow reef edge of the islands, not huge 35-40cm. Im aiming to head out for some tuna in the next couple weeks

@@thesaltybadger Ive been using a burley bomb so kinda cheating. Sheep/chook pellets with some old bits of bait & tuna oil mixed in then frozen. Works alright.

I struggle on our reefs fishing also . You didn’t catch two of my favourites banjo sharks and poor man’s lobster 🤔😂. I normally give up and go for flatheads and bag out . Heaps of fun and action . Keep the videos coming Salty . 👍🏻 Cheers Pagey

Fair comment mate. Sometimes we probably do say too much. This was a bigger fish for Lou and she was struggling to make ground on it. I was giving advice on how to get it to the boat more efficiently. I do take your point though. If you watch our videos I reckon she catches more fish than I do, so she should probably be the one giving advice. Thanks for the comment and watching our content ❤️

Me and my better half picked a few 70cm Mahi on Tuesday around the FAD. Snapper & Trev around the islands on Thursday and small Mahi around Bass point on Friday

@@thesaltybadger my best way to sleep is find a nice small creek orrr on land and work with the tide and actually I get sick at night if it’s rough so I take to travel tablets and I sleep like a baby just a few ideas if you have any questions I’m always doing camping missions in my 480coast runner I’ve installed 150L fuel tank 10l water bladder and all the Goodes you could think of just hit us a msg if you got questions on how I do things

You can use several for a boat if your size. Oak flats at the ski ramp on a higher tide. Berkeley on any ride. Redall parade on any tide. Kanahooka. Tallawarra on a high tide.

Hey. Thank you for the kind words. I hope that I’m making my fishing trips entertaining. I know I have a lot of fun. Hope it translates to KZbin. As for the boat, no regrets, she’s great. The only thing that I think you’ll ever hear most people say is that if they had the money they would have gone up a size. But I’m honest when I say that this boat does everything we have asked of her with ease. It’s easy to launch and retrieve solo, is good on fuel and easy to park.

The amount of yakkas/slimeys in the area are ridiculous at the moment. Bonitos and rat kings tailing them up makes for a fun day on the water. Plenty of Marlins have being caught out wider especially off from Shellharbour. Picked up a bunch of good eating size snapper not far off Belambi and the humps has been good fishing too.

Saw you out there this day, My boat pops into camera 36min mark. We caught about 20 slimeys which were turned into fish tacos and about the same in rat kings trolling around/drifting. Had a live slimey off the back about 100m from that island and hooked up to a shark. No wire leader so it was exciting for about 3.7seconds. Then the weather went south quickly mad for a fun boat ramp!
