Hello, my TF was just in the middle of 2002 and has the first dials of this kind, I checked the motor, it's actually a 1.8 engine :)

A 406 coupé 2.0 takes about 7.5liters per 100 kms, a 2.2 about 8, when you are soft with the right pedal :) It can take even more if you choose to drive tougher :)

Romain NASSIRI Thank you! And is there any difference, regarding the consumption betveen the 132 and the 135 HP version? In the future probably i'll buy one, and as i saw the older 132 HP versions is a lot cheaper than the stronger.

csipi89 My pleasure :) A 132hp is generally more demanding, since it takes about 8liters per 100km (compared to the 7.5/100). I used to drive a 135/137hp and it's much more pleasant to drive, less noisy, and the only 3hp (here in France we talk about 135 and 138hp) are not the only reason, the torque is better. The main drawback is that the hydraulic pushers begin to make some noises at 100,000 miles (170,000kms) and because it's generally more expensive. I owned a second coupé, a 2.2 160hp and i recommend you, if you can afford it, to make this purchase instead. It's really less common (only 2-3% of the overall production) but it really worth the effort if you can find one ! Anyways, each Coupé is a nice car, even if you choose the "small" 132, despite its older design.

I'll buy a 135hp version, surely, but find the right color is make the purchase even more difficult :) Only 3 color can be considered: dark red, blue, or black the grey is not an option but unfortunetly the internet is full with grey 406 coupes :( for me it makes the coupe a "not interesting car" But you mentioned that there is a 138 Hp version! Was it sold only just in France?
