The doctor said the tethers fail eventually so is ASC not recommended/good since adults have no growth modulation?

As we understand from Dr. Blakemore's presentation, there is a window in certain children's growth cycle where ASC is optimal and that it is not used in adults. You would need to consult with an orthopedist on specifics pertaining to the individual patient.

Dr. Blakemore did my spinal fusion for major scoliosis in 2004 at Children's National in Washington DC. I was 13 years old, spinal cord was the perfect S, safe to say my back looks as of I never has scoliosis. I'm now 34 years old with 2 kids. Dr. Blakemore is absolutely the best EVER❤
