Hi, does this AFR gauge require a controller ? Can I connect it directly to a LSU 4.2 wideband ? Thanks !

This is a fuel pressure gauge. Wideband AFR gauges require the control box. Narrowband gauges do not, they will wire directly to your stock o2 sensor. Our wideband kits include and only use LSU 4.9

@@prosportgaugesdamn, I wasn’t paying attention that this is a Fuel gauge, not an Air/Fuel Ratio one as mine is, unfortunatelly I don’t have a controller for mine and now that you mentioned I’m thinking what type of gauge do I have, wide or narrow band, is there any way I can figure it out ? Wouldn't mind knowing the LED part #. Blue color has lost its brightness so much the gauge the gauge doesn't look like it's turned on. I've switched it to red which helps a little bit I would like Blue. I've attempted adjusting the brightness as well but that didn't help, it's on max.

The LED lights inside are not serviceable. They are surface mounted tiny ones, about the size of a pinhead.

Sounds like the dead battery made the gauge loose your settings. Try the process again. Be sure you have red wire to a constant power source to retain memory.

Both, this removes the "beeping" sound from startup and during the warning. The gauge willl still flash deep red when you go into warning mode.

Hmmm I don’t think that oil pressure gauge is accurate at all. It was hitting almost 70psi at 2300rpm? No way in hell that is accurate.

I noticed the core wire you have didn't look like copper wire. Does that matter really? The wiring on my engine harness looks like the wiring you have there. I got a spool of 16 gauge wire from the parts store, but it's core is copper. Just wondering if that's going to have any negative affects on what I'm doing? Extending the ignition control section of the harness to relocate the ICM.

Hello could you help me. I have installed these gauges and they reset when I turn off the car. I have seen that you have commented that I install the red wire to a 12 v power source with current with the car turned off but then the gauges stay on when I turn off the car. I am desperate and I do not know what to do with this problem since it is very annoying to configure everything every time I start the car

I sent your company an email early this morning but I don’t think the person who answered me fully understood what I’m trying to do. These gauges are beautiful. I have an 05 Neon srt4 and want to put your fuel level, speed, tach, and engine temp sensors in it. Got a block off panel made for them already. Power and grounds for them isnt an issue. What I want to know is how they receive a signal for the read out, is it possible for me to pull out my factory cluster and use the signals for each of the original gauges to get yours to display the correct numbers??? Is there some kind of trickery that I can do to make them work properly? Really don’t want to pay a truck load of money to Dakota Digital and I like these displays much more. Thanks in advance. 😊

You CANNOT use your factory sensors with these gauges no matter how much magic sorcery you use. No matter whose gauges you use you HAVE to use the supplied senders (except for Tachometer) in order to get accurate readings. For the engine temperature you can use our Oil filter adapter plate 3/4"-unf size.

prosportgauges that’s what I was figuring on. Gotta make a bigger hole in my firewall to fit all the new wires through. Thanks that’s all I wanted to know was to make sure that’s what was up. Gonna continue to save up as much as I can and get all the gauges at once. Do you think it would be possible to start at the factory plug, build a new harness, then use your sending units? Never done it that way before, just wondering because of my car being so small and such a pain to work on.

It is pretty easy to install the gauges and run the wiring. For the EVO speedo - use our GPS sensor Tacj use the tach signal off your ecu Temp - use the adapter plate Fuel level -you can use factory signal and adjust our gauge to match. Then wire the power/ground for each- it is really not that hard..

Your red power wire has to be connected to a source that is getting 12v even when the car is off. (memory wire)

I'm almost done with My '99 JDM STi RA build, and was holding out on the Halo's until the last minute, and then these puppies came out!!! Can't wait to install them. You can use 16ga. wire to connect to the senders on the Performance series. Premium, Halo & JDM Series come with the wiring harness(gauge to sender).

Yes they are brand new. Compared to the Halo series they are faster and quieter. These only have 2 colors while the Halo has three colors. and Halo has Peak recall And warning -While the JDM only has Warning.
