@@604motorsports Yes, Stohr WF1. There are lots of versions of both the WF1 and F1000 but all things being equal, the WF1 should be 1-2 seconds per lap faster due to how much more efficient sports racer bodywork is over formula cars for downforce versus drag.

@@lowside67 oh really? didn't know that. thanks. I was assuming F1000 was faster. saw someone with a top notch f1K doing about 1:06 at mission tho, so wasn't sure. Could you race the wf1 in a competition class tho?

@@604motorsports Yes, there is a class for the car at Mission. It'd be the fastest car there by several seconds though so you wouldn't really have a good fight, more like a guaranteed win.

Not 100% sure! The goal is to lower the track record again at Area 27 if possible, and maybe make it out to the new track in Calgary, Canada as well.

Hey Paul, it's not easy to redo the graphics on the video, but you can just divide the speed by 1.61 to get the MPH. For example, in T1 I am doing 227km/h, so 227/1.61 = 141mph. Cheers!

Thanks very much! To be honest, that was actually one of the worst parts of my lap compared to some others I did. I was down 6kph ~4mph to my best on another lap. It is a very intense feeling to force yourself to not lift and just turn in at that speed.

Incredible to see something with downforce around this circuit. Very cool. I’m dying to see someone hotlap this circuit in something like an LMP2 prototype, or an Indycar. At this point, I’d settle for an F3 car or Indy Lights car lol. It seems like a completely different circuit with a proper race car and downforce. Flat out section, heavy braking, flat out, heavy braking. When I watch an onboard of a super car, or even like a Porsche Cup car, the circuit seems quite cramped, one corner after the next, no massive braking zones. This though, this looks like you could actually race these around this circuit….which is good news for the future hopefully 🤞lol

Have been to that event in the past. I grew up hanging around and helping my friends with their cars and bikes at Westwood near Vancouver back in the 70-90s. Tracks gone now. Moved to Vernon 5 years ago. I restore and repair vintage Datsuns for my customers. Hopefully see you Maryhill. Love pure race cars.

I am not really sure - definitely nothing I am adding after the fact. That's an older Gopro so it must be whatever it does naturally. I have some incredibly bouncy footage from Mission though... Ridge is smooooooooth.

I am curious to know what clutchless and autoblip shifter system you are using...

Hi Peter - the shifter itself is a simple mechanical push/pull cable acting on the stock motorcycle gearbox. The ignition cut/throttle blip is all handled directly by the Motec M130 ECU that runs the motor. (Since this motor is drive by wire, no additional hardware is needed).

I wish I could say that I had taken the Knox record, but still have a ways to go for that one! We were the king of the hill this year but not the fastest in the history of the hill. The car is immensely fast... the driver, still working on it. :)
