My sweet friends! ❤️This song was originally intended as a joke but I quickly discovered that I had so much fun recording and putting this together. 😊 If you hadn't noticed I have been uploading shorts for about 40 days now where I share a new song every day until I find your favorite song. After Christmas I got this cold that have lasted so long and made it very hard to sing, and I have come to the conclusion that it probably is just a pregnancy thing and that I will likely go back to normal only after the babies have arrived. When I recorded this it's the 8th of january and it's two weeks left of the expected pregnancy. I'm so excited and happy but I'm also humble to the fact that it might be the most trying and exhausting period of my (our) life so far. We have a three year old daughter and I remember the struggles and hardships with having a newborn, and now there will be two of them 👶👶. But children are the biggest blessing. We are expecting identical twin girls ❤️ I am hoping to be able to continue the series again after the babies have arrived, I might not be able to record something new every day but at least most days. That is what I'm hoping for 😊 It has been really fun for me and also good for the channel I believe, the amount of time that goes into making a real "proper" video is not comparable to working with shorts. And I guess I just like checking in daily and it feels like I'm more present here on the channel as well 🌷 Thanks to all of you that have been commenting, liking and subscribing to my channel. It means so so much to me. And to all of you that have been around for years and years... I appriciate you beyond words!! Take care now everybody and I wish you all the best ❤️ Big swedish hugs

This is my absolute favorite poem from the Lord of the Rings. It is both happy and melancholic at the same time, representing old Bilbo’s emotions quite well. I was not sure whether it could be even better, but then found your version of the song - it is heavenly. You sure you were not a singer in the music of the Ainur? :)

I was happy to hear it! I make no demands whatsoever, of course. But I'd love it if you did! As I said back then, there are far too few Tolkien songs available in Swedish.
