spoon some Vaseline into a bag, add the same cotton, zip bag up and squish Vaseline through all the pads. Have used that recipe with no heat or mess and works great. You can also cram cotton balls by the hand full and pull out a lump when you need a fire.

Nice! If I may make a suggestion for a future video, I think it would be great to see you compare and contrast your compass with one or more smart phone compass apps. The iPhone has a free compass app that is pretty good, and it works even without wifi or cellular coverage, because it receives GPS data from satellites. Your can try it in airplane mode as a test. A major pro is that it gives you your latitude and longitude coordinates. The obvious major con is that it of course will not work after you phone’s battery runs out. I would not recommend it over a real compass, but it’s a nice backup to have on your phone just in case you need it.

Good one, friend. I got one for you, too. Vaseline mushed up on a cotton ball. Melt one end of a straw together. Stuff it in there, then menl the other end to seal it. When you need a fire, cut it out of the straw and hit it with a ferro rod. Lights super easy. Doesn't last as long as yours, but it'll get you going. I keep a couple in the pouch of my knife case with a small ferro rod. Good luck with your channel. Aloha!

I like to use a mix of attractants for this set. Start off using natural baits like a dead mouse or any small rodent. Though if that does not work, try using fox gland lures, or fox urine to add to this formula. Hope this helps out!

Do you have a set or trap size recommendation for groundhogs?

I would recommend using either a 1 1/2 coil spring trap (Foot hold) and setting it at the entrance of where the groundhog is coming in and out of. Another method would be using a 160 or 220 conibear (Killing trap) and setting also at the entrance of where the groundhog is coming in or out of. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
