I've always kept my battery on a tender that came with my 600T, never had a battery issue BUT. One trip to the dealer for 2 weeks and it was flat.. been back on the tender but definitely need a new one. Original one people say they don't last apparently

Second veiw,,just wondering how long you think it will last ,,,my 2022 overland 1000 is blowing differential and snapping the spline gear on the rear prop shaft ,,aka drive shaft ,,,not axle,,,I only have 28's on it and a RNG clutch kit,,good luck ,,oh a rear differential that is a cool 1000 $,,and the drive shaft that's a meat 250$,,,hope that 15 minutes of fun is worth it ,,I found it not to be worth the 1200$ for 15 minutes
@SimplyOffRoad13 күн бұрын
@keithbelz2346 I don't think the 600 has the power to be that aggressive on parts. Over time will water, mud, and wide open throttle shorten the life of my components, yes. I've worn out the u joints in the front drive shaft. Broken 4 (2 left and 2 right) front axles (diff lock in wrong situation). I'm on my 4th belt, and other smaller stuff. But yes it's exspensive especially with the mark up of cfmoto parts. Last I looked a front diff for mine with no actuator was $1300. Whole drive shaft was $385 for the front. In the end you have to be able to see it as smiles per mile.

I don't remember. Easy test is to get jumper cables from a running car and see if it resolves all issues. Keep in mind. Atvs are not like cars. They do not recharge batteries, they barely maintain them.

Bro,..i brought extra belt with in back seat of truck to trails. Left window open and it poured rain all night on the belt. Is the belt shot ?
@SimplyOffRoad2 ай бұрын
No, it's fine. Water itself isn't the issue. Water causes the belt to slip on the clutches. That's the issue.

@@SimplyOffRoad Wow I just bought a higher mileage 13 xc60 t6 r design. Let me tell you this thing has gotten a new set of spark plugs and wires but is throwing codes for misfiring on all 6. I truly thought Volvo were more reliable than this.
@SimplyOffRoad3 ай бұрын
@@shawnballard794 2013 didn't have the issue in the video. The b5 variant engines came out in late 21 and 2022. I will say all eropean cars do not like aftermarket parts. You have the inline 6. They do not like aftermarket coil packs.

@shawnballard794 volvos are reliable, but that vehicle is 11 years old. Probably well over 100k miles. Reliability starts becoming a matter of interpretation for all cars at that age and miles.

Bout to do this. Is unbolting the transmission all you have to do to leave the transmission in there? The flywheel comes with the crankshaft?

Yes. Save yourself the trouble and take the front end off. I did use a ratchet stray to support the trans after the motor was out.

Hl there I have a questlon. If the belt is deformed, will the ATV vibrate slightly when starting forward and backward? The gears shift smoothly. Also, the sound you mentioned is not there. I bought the ATV yesterday, it has 390 km and the only thing I worry about is the belt.
@SimplyOffRoad5 ай бұрын
That can be normal. Hard to say without pulling the cover and see if there is dark "spots" on the clutch sheaths.
Mine is stuck! Could not figure it out how to pull it out. Any ideas, should I sprey it and harshly try to pull it out? Do I break something?
@SimplyOffRoad8 ай бұрын
What happens to me is dirt gets between the cylinder and the head. You can use a oil like wd40 and compressed air. The first time I changed the spark plug it was very tight.

So my question is, what's the big deal? Take the same amount of miles or time since leaving the factory even in the owner's hands since day one would this all happen anyway if not more due to the fact that its going threw rain puddles, road grime, etc..? Like yall are worried about simple surface rust when its going to happen regardless of being sold or sitting.
