Hi I’m Heather and I sang in the ARC vocal jazz ensemble and sing in the Sierra College vocal jazz advanced ensemble and have to do a concert review, but because of COVID 19, I can’t attend a live concert. I think you have a nice, well blended, well balanced, Cohesive sounding group. I enjoyed the soloist in The Wine Light. I like how he put some runs in it. I felt the songs tempo was a bit too slow, and I lost interest half way through. The dynamics weren’t great. You can Crescendo on the word “grow”, with a little dive would be cool. I know it’s hard to do it on a short note. You did well staying in tune of those crunchy chords and some dissonance in some of the chords. I love the energy of the young lady in the white skirt in the Middle, nice voice. I noticed you use your hands a lot to phrase certain parts of the song , but I see that a lot in vocal jazz. I think maybe it could internalized in your mind, instead of the body. But over all, I loved the last song, and enjoyed your sound. It was very enjoyable to listen to. Great job.

I was there to watch the performance. When the soloist began to sing for forever from DEH I started freaking out. I love the musical! They sang beautifully
