It’s scary that a “win” for this evaluation was when the WHO had Lady Gaga tell the public to wear masks- which have been proven ineffective That’s the biggest win? Leveraging a celebrity to tell people to do something ineffective. The outcome is the public could signal they listen to celebrities...not a great indicator they are wise or informed. But rather, indoctrinated and groomed to do something antithetical to safe and helpful for this problem. No talk of metabolic indicators of health or any actual health advice for the global public

Why does she think that Esperanto didn't succeed well? It had the smallest language community 130 years ago (only one speaker) - and now it is probably language # 15 or 30 between the languages that are learnt as foreign languages. Did any other language ever had such a rise in such a short period of time? Why does she think that Esperanto had no native speakers? Why does she repeat what Tolkien once wrote, that the authors (or the one author) did not create legends around it? (Esperanto has a language community, but Tolkien's languages don't. So Tolkien had to create the legends for his languages - in Esperanto the task of creating legends is done by the speakers and authors of books in Esperanto. We do have our history and our legends - e.g. the legend about Zamenhof's father who burnt his writings... - Speaking of legends and of Tolkien: One of the legends around Esperanto is that Tolkien did _not_ speak Esperanto. In facit he did - and he even wrote in Esperanto, parmadili.skf.org.pl/elendili/esperanto.jpg ) Why does she think there wouldn't be a cultural context around Esperanto? The answer is: Most linguists and other scientists don't do research about Esperanto - they just repeat what others said, a long list of errors. So, if you don't speak with Esperanto speaking scientists or other Esperanto speakers, it is very difficult to get a realistic picture of the Esperanto world... And the reason that it was not marketed well - why was it not? It seems, the problem is, it's very difficult to make money, if you succeed well in marketing Esperanto. Esperanto is not protected by patents. When I do good marketing for Esperanto, you can go on to sell Esperanto courses or books in Esperanto or Esperanto travels... Why should you pay anything to me? That's why it is so difficult to find good marketers for Esperanto. English has good marketers against Esperanto - the linguists who are paid for doing research about English and other traditional languages. It seems to be a pleasure for them to spread false information about Esperanto. I am so sorry, but up to now I can't remember any linguist who spoke against Esperanto, who didn't make major errors when presenting Esperanto... It's a shame, really. I don't consider Esperanto to be "too disruptive". You don't have to stop speaking English after you learned Esperanto. You may read texts in English _and_ in Esperanto, every day. Maybe one of the strongest advantages of Esperanto is the fact that it is so quick to learn; this means that you can reach a level in Esperanto which you won't ever reach in English. Unsurmountable.

Interesa prelego kaj komparo.

This is a fascinating piece of information but I had to want to watch it to find that out. I'd also like to share it but sadly it is far too long for social media sharing with anyone who isn't a hard core fan of social media metrics. Id might also me a good idea to have some contact details or links to your digital hub somewhere on this channel particularly when the subject matter pertains to social media interaction, distribution and sharing!!
