Hello sir, I had my Visit visa interview with my wife and daughter on November 25, 2024 and the Consular officer approved our visas. 4 days later I received message that the visas are ready for pickup. Unfortunately only my wife and daughter’s visas were issued. I checked the status of my visa and it was shown approved. The case was created on 25th November, 2024 and it was last updated on the same date. As I am writing my case status is still showing approved on the website and the date has not been updated since then. What does it mean please?

Try to retrive your application with that reference number, check & resubmit the application again. If it doesnt work you should send an email enquiry to [email protected]

Ideally, within 2-5 working days you should receive the acknowledgment email.

Can I show my fathers bank statement as well ?? I dont know whether it will be rejected or they will ask for more documents , do i need to show hotel booking as well ?? can you help ??

I think that should work. in case if you are showing your father bank statements & he is your sponser then it is better to write a cover letter stating he is sponsoring your trip ( it is just my understanding but better check directly by sending email ) From my understanding all they need to know is that you have a strong ties to your home country to retun after your trip & if you can afford your stay in HK

Yes and everthing is online, in case if HK immigration require any additional documents they will send you an email with the link to upload.

I provided Passport front and back, all in and out stamps and visa copies 2. as a Self employed i gave my company registration certificate 3. Bank statement company and personal 4. day to day itinerary 5. Flight tickets 6. Hotel Booking can you check the above and am i met all the basic requirements? did i miss any basic requirements? Please update me. Coz my visa refused and then i appeal for reconsideration. after appeal reconsideration they send mail to send supplementary documents by the link. But they don't mention any specific documents in that email. so i submitted Updated tickets, hotel booking and bank statements. they told me " We will proceed with our assessment on the basic of information and documents available by then" Please check and update me if i miss any. thanks.

All the documents you have mentioned are the same that i have also submitted. In addition they have asked me for below documets to upload online. 1. ITR ( last 3 years, i think this is very important ) 2. Payslips 3. Travel History ( i have never travelled to any international places so created a word document and explained the reasons for hong kong visit and requested ) 4. Payslips & company ID card ( last 3 months ). 5. visit schedules in Hong Kong ( i have created a word document with day to day itinerary )

@@walkbackhome Okay thank you, for my case they told me to submit supplementary documents but they don't mention any. I called immigration dept they told me to apply fresh new and basic documents to apply again. they told me to refer guide book i really cant understand still saying like provide enough basic documents then only wil start process. I never know what they expecting doc from me. coz i send all basic documents already but refused.
