Mate if I paid good money for this car then seen you’re videos of these repairs I would be horrified. Those patches and welds are not how you repair it. Even a gtr shell with that much rust ain’t worth saving.

Does your car have Distronic fitted? (The light that comes on the dashboard when you are too close to the car in front). I have this grille to fit but wonder if it will cause havoc with the sensor

@@ryanhennessey1009 Thanks, I guess there must be two types of grille you can purchase - Ones with a 'twist to lock' badge mounting point and one with a push fit "Distronic" badge fitment. Mine has a twist to lock fitting but the badge is a push fit like yours

@@TheAshlec hi yes that sorted it just had to do a lot of oil cleanup because it was everywhere & get a new air filter 👍

Any sensors triggered when removing the grill. I just got my grill but I read that it’ll triggers sensors and have to get it recalibrated.

Thanks buddy, yeah it’s running really nice now, it only got a low boost tune because under high boost the arches were rubbing when squatting down on the dyno around 350bhp, I’ll check out your channel 👍

Nice work on the window motor bud. It’s not a fun job. I had a spare passenger motor dismantled it and put as many of the bits I could into the original drivers window motor. It’s still very temperamental 😂

@@ryanhennessey1009 😂 i feel the same. I’ve done the clutch, water pump, timing belt, fuel sender unit, still trying to figure out why the speedo won’t work somthing to do with the speed sensor. Also a couple of weeks ago the turbo blew so it’s broken on the drive again lol

ignition barrel can cause issues like electrics tripping off when you hit bumps. Take the plastic out and clean up the connectors.

Your video shows that the calipers were installed incorrectly. The bleed port needs to face up. Looks like they need to be swapped from one side to the other.

Yeah I couldn’t get them out to (rounded) managed to bleed them upside down anyway 😬 they will be coming off again to sort it & paint them I need a new bearing anyway, thanks mate 🙏

Yeah thanks mate cars so much better now, I paid £360 as it wasn’t a full tune only low boost, when I sort the arches & VCT solenoid I’ll get it back down for hopefully the final tune 🤞
