Honestly, the only thing i would Change to make the Coral Oscilator to work, would be the Thrusters, instead of the Guills, i'll change the Fluegel Thrusters for Melee boost, and more balanced stats in general, And the Legs for the regular Melander Legs.

I went with the classic Nine-ball build from AC1/PP/MOA Harris Linear Rifle (best Karasawa replacement IMO) Standard Blade (the one you start game with) Eartshot (love this thing, perfect punish weapon in MP) Duo3 Missiles (horizontal arch/curve not vertical -- lightweight, good tracking and 3.9s reload) All on the lighter Melander chassis /w that one head with the frontal fin. Also a bit of nit-picking: need that bit of light cast over the 9 on the Emblem, a couple of white circles with like 60%ish gradiant or w/e should do the trick!

You should use the other VP arms, higher meleee spec whilst maintaining firearm spec thus having better balance of damage, lower recoil but none of the weapons used require recoil over 100

Actually the damage for needle missle launchers is poor despite what the numbers say, due to its direct hit modifier compared to other missles and even cannons, in fact the songbirds, most split missle launchers, certain vertical, every plasma missle and certain dual missles all have double the potential damage on staggered enemies. It’s mainly due to the resistances many enemies have towards the needle missles specific damage type. It’s also very easy for an enemy to dodge it as its projectile speed is low tier, the only weapons I’ve hit enemies with less than trueno is the coral missles due to their stupid spiral twirl motions and garbage honing. The trueno is garbage tier against non staggered enemies unless you can manual aim it.

You can find the source of anything in the game in the Access Info tab, you can scroll over to it after opening the map. As for Lethal Infection specifically, I'm not really sure what the best place to get it is. I think I got mine while Obstructor farming. I know the non-elemental reactor in Vespers Moonlight Lake has a 5% drop for it on completion and might be a decent option if you have a good valby build or something.

11:43 Locksmith uses VE-20A because of higher en firearm spec, but it is not used for the laser drone. VP-20C or Hokushi might be a good call

I just saw the dev blog, seems like a lot of the complaints are gonna be addressed in this weeks patch. - Hailey farm is gonna be easier - Puzzle mechanics are getting nerfed, honestly would have rather they just extended the timer but fine - Inversion reinforcement buffs are getting buffed

I know this is an old game now but i had to restart and getring back into it. Completed ascended towers but exalted kicks my ass lol. Ill pay someone for some carries through exalted and a max level dreamstone to get some of my own to farm for quests. I really want some damn triple primaries.

After loading the preset, go into the paint menu, then then back out of the menu without saving the changes. You'll still lose things like decals, but it'll keep the base colors.

Depends, if you just want to make a purely firearm focused build, then the only stats you really need are cooldown, duration and survivability. Honestly, I still haven't gotten around to experimenting with blair because I've been so busy getting gley, bunny, valby and a bunch weapons end-game ready. So I have no idea if its worth investing in your skill damage at all on a build centered around backdraft.

Seems to be working perfectly fine for me. Just be aware that the bonus crit will only be shown in the info page of the inventory screen. When you're on the inventory screen, on PC, press the W key, not sure what it is on console but it should be shown in the bottom right.

@@jacobsdad8163 unless you're on console, and its a console specific bug, it's definitely working normally. Trying putting on a very low crit rate weapon, like a launcher/shotgun with 1% crit rate, and see if you're getting crits

Valby gives a flat 20% critical hit rate, you confirm this by looking at her passive on descendant page. But I do need to correct that it is affected by citical hit rate modifiers (this goes for blair as well). I think when I tested it I must've accidentally forgotten to save the loadout or something and it just didn't occur to me that the base weapon crit rate didn't change.

@@stealthy3928 No, it increases the base crit rate of the gun by 14%. Using the tamer as an example, let's say you have +50% crit rate from mods with it's base 10% crit rate: instead of [10 * 1.5 + 14 = 29%] it's [(10 + 14) * 1.5 = 36%]

Honestly your variation of 9-ball is indeed good, but nothing and i mean NOTHING makes it seem SIMILAR to the real deal than the Vvc-770LB (this is not one of those smug remarks mind you, its my opinion and you can feel free to talk about it.) that NEARLY almost mimics the blade of where 9-ball originated.

Before getting to your changes my opinion is that the assault rifle fits since it builds a little stagger and song birds sings the tune leading to the bunker coming in and missile support as well great for forcing a dodge or small mts The internals ill agree with thoucan be better

1:42 I too am not an expert on copyright law, but I am aware of enough of it due to my own doings and hobbies, that I can say without a single issue of being wrong; that you are absolutely correct. But again, I'm not a lawyer. I'm just clever enough to be one, maybe, if I could be bothered to go through University to get the degree. Anyways... Fair use is pretty straight forward in some ways, but also not, in others. Remixing a song, is allowable. You are creatively transforming the work into something else, that may retain some similarity, but otherwise changes enough to not be confused as being the same song, or even same artist responsible. That said, there is some nuance. Covering a song, is allowable too. Covering, in this case, means doing what some of the bands will do where they play each others songs on stage before the main event. A lot of music can be 'covered' legally, so long as it is you actually playing the music with those instruments or tools, etc. Best example of covers being legal, is probably citing how litigious King Crimson is over his work, yet leaves artists like Ozzy Osbourne completely alone despite covering 21st century schizoid man. Cause it's perfectly legal, even if still under copyright. Trademark... and IP rights might intervene in some ways though, so YMMV depending on the source of the music being used. This is why I bring up King Crimson, because he's basically the mac daddy of "correctly" copyright claiming against people on KZbin for stealing his music and profits. Key point is the correct part about it. Where as many do it wrong, or use false claims; his are legitimate. Yet he does nothing about covers. Because covers are a form of respect in a way, and while the piece might not have been 'transformed', it has at least been played originally by yourself, instead of just copying it. One more thing about covers. Covering a song/music piece by default basically has to be allowable, or otherwise you can't practice playing your instruments with any songs or music pieces other than whatever you come up with yourself. I.E. No sheet music for band class except whatever your teacher cooked up. The band class is in effect, covering the song or music of whatever artist made it. Perhaps not well, but that is what they are doing, without an audience, usually. NOW we get to buddy rap star wanna be. Technically, he could claim it's a cover and 'remix' of sorts, but only if he actually played the song himself as well, and didn't JUST record over it. IF he did just the recording over it, then he can still maybe claim it's a remix, but... you have to actually change the music somewhat. Adding lyrics, doesn't change the music beyond turning it into a song. For those who wonder why the difference matters... well... Songs have lyrics. Music has notes. Distinctions like these matter in the legal world, even if a person has (invalid) reason to disagree. Now, what buddy has done has transformed the music into a song, but he did nothing to change the music at all if I understand correctly. He didn't mix up the notes, add anything musical, etc. (Unless mistaken) He just added lyrics. Sony, MIGHT let this slide perhaps if there is no money made from it. But... looks like he's trying to make money from it. Which means it's outright theft of the original material. Fair use doesn't really protect him here. And if I am correct in all of this, Sony has legal reason to get proactive with a lawyer. P.S. Technically, your use of game music also is not legal 'fair use', but because of deals that Twitch and KZbin have as I understand, there is leeway for folk to use it in ways like you do. But, don't be surprised if you do get an actual strike if they decide you are getting too relaxed and greedy about it. Simple fix, though maybe not simple for everyone... since rap star buddy didn't bother... is to just remix it a bit.

Yeah, I know my use is not covered under fair use and just that many companies let it slide when people use game osts (I assume mostly because sorting through videos of people actually playing your game vs. listening to the ost would be a nightmare). If sony had claimed I wouldn't have cared at all, it's totally within their rights. Also, you're correct that it wasn't modified, unless you count cutting off about .5s at the start, and was directly just spoken over. Funnily enough, I've put in more effort than the composer did because I looped/added some fade to all the tracks to make them flow well and balanced the audio tracks.

@@Naisarias Yeah, the game OSTs are a bit hit and miss on the copyright strikes that go out, etc. I got one on my actual channel a while back, from a group that only covered the same music used in the game, not that it was actually their music at all. They didn't even have any affiliation with the devs or Sega, the publisher. And then on top of it all, while the notes might be the same mostly, the pitch and tempo were not the same at all. The reverberations in the sounds, and the clarity of the tones, were way different. I.E. Similar but not the same, enough that Sega had no issue letting it go through on their end when making and selling the game; but apparently some diptwit out there figured otherwise in regards to my playing of said game and being quiet just long enough to get striked, inaccurately. Personally, I find it incredibly aggravating when stuff like this happens to myself or others, but then nothing happens to folk like rapstar buddy who is going above and beyond to break the rules. To put this into perspective for those who just don't get it. If the rules don't apply for one person, any person at all whoever they are... then they don't apply for any person at all regardless of whether any one person prefer otherwise or not. And frankly, this isn't up for debate via anyone, even actual lawyers, or actual police. Why? When this happens via court cases and judgments via the court, it is said to have set precedence. Precedence they have no legal right to challenge without proper evidence and a case to go with it. This is part of how dumb and bad laws are taken down over time. So again, it's not up for debate. But the public at large, doesn't realize that it also applies to the real world between folk as well. Scam other artists, don't be surprised when no one cares that they scammed you back, or did something else to teach you the lesson instead. People are dumb that way, by and large, generally. Anyways. That may all seem like it was off topic to you, or some others, but there is a point to it all. If KZbin and the legal community at large won't do anything about these false claims made by scammers and such; then they have no right to complain when we the users of KZbin, and the creators supporting it, decide to play their game too. How does one do this? Well... if my experience is anything to go by, you do this. 1. Make a 'cover' of the song at hand that the scammer is using. Now you have right to claim that cover as your work, even if the original is not. 2. Find every video using scrape bots to weed out the stuff that doesn't involve your song, from those that do. 3. Find the ones that the scammer uploaded, or their affiliated company putting out the strike requests. 4. ??? 5. Profit. Or something to that matter. The 4. ??? part is left like that on purpose in reference to the 'business plan' meme for comedy purposes, but also because technically telling someone to gather a bunch of users to effective w-hunt scammers, might not be legal outright... even if it's morally fine. (Remember folks. Legal and Moral are not the same thing.)

Surprisingly, once I got a good idea of the best way to use it, it wasn't bad at all. The curtis basically became relegated to: get enemy close to stagger with scudders, stagger with charge shot, then spam uncharged shots till empty, switch back to scudder, repeat

I mean, I doubt the artist has anything to do with the claim, and doubt he knowingly used the ost given that he does seem to have some level of success. Unless he somehow got sony to fork over the rights the track, which I doubt, my assumption is that what ever composer he outsources to couldnt meet a deadline, and just copy pasted a track he thought no one in the artist's target demographic would recognize. Regardless, even if he does have the rights to use the ost, it doesn't change the fact that his distributer is throwing out blatantly false copyright claims.

So if it's overweight, I go with it. You cant deploy when you're over the energy cap at all. I actually finished making my own random build generator during the stream earlier today that accounts for energy cost so that's not an issue any more. BTW, if you want my random build generator you can grab it from discord in the description. It only works on windows tho

I've got a question about it works with every move that can be canceled into counter thrust. So If I understood rightly, while you can cancel any move like that you won't actually get insta block if the move isn't done recovering right? As in if I poke and cancel into counter thrust right when getting hit(while im not done recovering) I will just get a regular counter thrust right? So I can't "Cheat out" insta block timings. I could however just be safer overall. and IF I time counter thrust right, as in I don't spam it right after thrusting but wait somewhat, I have the chance to get insta block if my move recovered already, pressing counterthrust will still give me insta block.

It's been a while since I played sunrise, but iirc, you've understood correctly. This tech won't let you cheat the timing in any way, but will stop you from being punished if you misjudge if your current action will recover fast enough to insta block. Of course, if you just press it too late, you'll still get hit, but if you press it too early, you still get a counter thrust. It essentially just makes the chance that you get a positive outcome higher.

So do you usually also hold down the counter thrust or cancel thrust. also as I understood it though, this makes it for people that don't have the timing down, more likely to go into counterthrust as well, because most of the time you cancel it too early right? also in case of waiting in neutral, would you usally also input counter thrust at the right timing over just blocking ? played rise on release, but then bought the dlc and did not play that right away. and am just now really catching up on it. love it(though it alsos tings taht i didnt use the sale value on steam)

@@Goondius After anything that can cancel into counterguard (which is almost everything except for counter thrust itself) hold the block button and press the counter guard button when you think the attack will connect. Either, you will go into counter stance and counter the attack, or you will recover and insta-block will start. Also yes, this will often cause people who haven't gotten timings down yet to counter guard more often. This tech has two primary purposes. One, it allows you to be much more aggressive and get in more damage while not being riskier than normal. Two, it'll let you safely learn how long your attacks take to recover by rewarding you with the positive feedback of the insane dps of insta-block. As for doing this in neutral, I assume you mean without attacking? You can't, this only works doing after some kind of attack/animation. If you try to do this in neutral you'll just insta-block.

@@Naisarias Ah, ok. So if you press it early without recovering you basicly get counter thrust. But if you time it right and recovered you are "in neutral" and you can't go into counter thrust anyways, so you instablock automatically. But essentially, for the plus side of counter thrust to happen(in case the attack connects earlier) I would still have to "react". Ok nice video, thanks for the tips. I am hyped for Wilds next year.

I've always liked how most of the Rubicon Liberation Front ACs (specifically, the ones piloted by the "Finger" Coral Warriors) have fairly underpowered and suboptimal weapon loadouts. It really reflects how they're guerillla fighters that have to fight with whatever weapons they can scrounge up.

there's a trick to importing color schemes from the pre-made builds you have access to 1. get the npc's ac from your data collection 2. go to the paint screen, it'll give you a warning about losing customizations, that's fine 3. back out of the customization screen without accepting the changes you still lose the decals, but you'll keep the exact color and material settings

At least it isn't too egregious yet and hopefully the backlash makes it clear how the overall player base feels about it. Locking the python mk II behind a 3 month long paywall is super scummy but the pre-built ships are just confusing. They're so offensively bad they come no where close to being p2w but rather are practically grieffing any new player who decides to buy them.

It isn't about winning, even ignoring that I also said I don't think these are pay-2-win as is (Edit: The Python mark 2 definitely crosses into p2w if it actually becomes pvp meta like they've hinted they've designed it to be). It's about the developers being incentivized to make the game worse in order to make sales in the shop. I don't think it'll happen, but things like gated access and pre-built ships are the start of a slippery slope if FDev prioritizes profits over their game's integrity.

Elite has been pay to win since horrizons with the awful balancing that it introduced. Anyone without that DLC stands 0 chance. Then if you did buy it the internal balance was also botched because min-maxed ships were impossibly stronger than those of casual ships. People spending thousands of hours grinding were rewarded with basically a god mode vs those who did not. These are big reasons the game is on life support as it is.

the only change I would make is instead of coral sword you could also go with the coral version of the moonlight. its red like his sword but also has the after slash projectile that he would have in ac1 and master of arena. but you could go either way honestly
