So…. Every time a dentist uses this technique of pressure with an instrument the palatal injection is MUCH more tolerable if not hardly noticeable depending on the dentist. The best method I personally have experienced is when they use the butt end of the instrument and unlike above video they don’t move the instrument till immediately before the injection. He pressed down fairly hard too and I dunno if that helped with a brain redirect as well??? Either way….. I wish ALL dentists did this.

I would NOT recommend! Its not covered by insurance, really hurt certain areas of mouth tho that pain didn't last where applied and mouth is sore hours later...can not eat normally plus I was told it's very temporary for all of the pain!😮….after watching the video I think that my hygienist put it on differently, like down into the actual pocket instead of around my teeth but 3 days later an area in my mouth under my tongue is still sore and that could be due to her not putting the instrument in the right place or the liquid itself because it’s still white.🤷‍♀️
