I like to think that Madlib and J.Rocc had some knowledge into records Dilla wanted to sample (or did but were never released). Because to this day these are the most Dilla-sounding non-Dilla beats I've ever heard. Also skip to 0:42

We were not in a church. Just a regular show venue, I think it was an old music hall or theatre.

Seeing this video makes me tear up because Ason left way too soon. Hearing the wonderful story that brotha Busta Rhymes share his story with Ason was deep and touching to the core of the heart and soul. Seeing young Ason singing one of his father's classic I tear up. Love and respect to Ason and all of his children. An icon and legend now living in spirit and guardian angel as in this earth. My late condolences to young Ason and all of his siblings. Love y'all big up love and respect
