Bonjour C’ est un formidable quintette à vents! La transcription de cette pièce de Dvorak est magnifique et ici superbement interprétée. J’ adore le jeu du bassoniste plein de précision avec un son très chaud.

Magnifique rencontre des lute songs de John Dowland et de très belles chansons de la culture pop moderne. Le choix des chansons est subtil et l'interprétation, sans fioritures, extraordinaire. Une très grande réussite et un exemple de plus de la dimension universelle de la musique et du chant.

Had the privilege of attending Jakub’s performance at the Queens Hall at the Edinburgh festival. Without doubt one of the highlights of my life, superb singer, entertaining , mesmerising, as were all the musicians accompanying him.

I have alway been kind of intrigued by the almost « too good to be true » perfection of Lugansky’s recording of the Etude-Tableaux… It even made me questionned myself about the authenticity of the recording, even to the point that I considered the fact that there might have been some rearrangements of some sort after the recording. But this live concert definitely comforts me in the idea that his playing is just pure genius, and emerges from a deep understanding of what Rachmaninov’s music is all about. Simply incredible.
