Dont be stupid.. these guys would get mopped up by an mma fighter. I do see how a drill like this could be very beneficial dont get me wrong and i would never try and disparage someone just for not knowing how to fight but when ppl say stuff like that i cant help but call them out. No one in this video is beating an mma fighter

Too slow, off balance, no power, no speed, no fluidity of movement, mouthing the strikes had more power. Learn the basics first. Spin kicks are taught after months of practice mastering the basics. If these guys try to practice this at a party. They are leaving themselves open to serious hurt, should someone take offense and put them in their place. In real self defense, no one will raise their arms and let you kick them, like in the video. Rename con merchant way. No likes here and on future boycott list.

If you have nothing positive or constructive to say, you probably shouldn't say anything
@Pablo9svn8Күн бұрын
@@cliffordhill2365im not even tryna be rude but i’d say that comment was constructive. He brought up some very valid points. This kid has bad fundamentals and should not be doing spin kicks of any type yet. I dont say that to be mean i say it cuz i like to see people improve and it would help him improve. When you have been trained correctly it can be frustrating to see it done the wrong way but i honestly think he was trying to be constructive with this comment. It can be an awkward thing to try to word politely
@jjhaya8 сағат бұрын
@cliffordhill2365 He did constructive criticism though, although he mostly stated the negatives they were pretty detailed, points that I mostly agree on as I observe similar things 😅. I mean making "psh" sounds for the kicks makes it look like a Mcdojo instead, just a weird activity overall, the man is slow and doesn't have power, not just because of the lack of technique but I mean I don't see the point in having to kick but not go full force, I really think this should be done with a kicking/punching bag and not against other students 😅. It's really a kick that a beginner shouldn't train for, fundamentals are necessary, I remember a video where a person attempted to do a flying kick and it didn't go well as he landed hard and broke his jaw in the process 😮. Not assuming that this man is practicing this for street fighting purposes/self-defense but for his sake, he should learn the basic ones first properly rather than practicing advanced ones the wrong way 😅.

why not backfist instead of backkick?
@toe2toefirearmsandtraining85712 күн бұрын
The entire lesson was about the spin kick. This particular video shows a portion of that lesson. If you go to throw a kick and the person moves away you have to adjust range. You might not be able to reach him at all with a spinning back fist since the arm is shorter than the leg. On the other hand, if he moves in on you you could definitely switch from the spinning back kick to the spinning back fist or even the spinning elbow. Those things would work if he closed the distance.

What if they tangle your leg to not let you turn?
@toe2toefirearmsandtraining85727 күн бұрын
Every technique has a defense and a counter. You can't get this throw off because they entangle your leg You might choose a reaping throw instead or go back to elbows and knees. Once we have the clench we have more options for throwing and knees. Of course everything depends on your level of skill compared to the level of skill of your opponent. Your question is pretty cool but my answer requires some in person training
@TheNEOverse27 күн бұрын
Then they're on one leg and you just trip them forwards instead. The O-uchi Gari is a popular combination with this move- both as an opener and a followup on failed attempts.
