Oh no, not again the "vein" theory, I thought we are passed that. You can have green veins and still be cool or cool neutral. The only thing that is for sure it that if you have blue veins you are cool. But having green veins tells you nothing.

Black looks harsh on you even though you still look good or better when you have your makeup on. Black draws you away meaning the attention is on black and not you.

I have black hair with almost a blue tint I have green and a little blue vains I tan gradually and never burn I’ve always liked silver on me better I also notice next to others I look yellow ish or more golden I’ve always thought I was warm or neutral but I’m not sure anymore!! ( also in black clothing I tend to have my yellow ish tones come out a little more

I didn't think that the silver jewelry looked like it was in contrast. I thought that the silver jewelry did not even look silver when you were wearing it. I don't know if that's because you naturally gravitated to a shade of silver that's not a true silver or if it's an alloy and it's grown dingy, or it has oxidized over time, but nothing about that first set of jewelry looks silver to me. Curious.

I have been struggling to figure out my skin tone. I have some blue veins , but greenish veins on my warms. I think the clothing test really sealed the deal for me. I look great in cooler toned greens, black, and bright whites. I can't really explain why i like the way these colors look on my skin. I know that when I put on a cream color my skin looks yellow and sickly. But when I put on white my skin looks pink and bright and vibrant. I have this one sweater that is a dark navy blue, and when I put it on i look so pretty and peach toned and I think that means i am cool toned. Turquoise makes me look yellow and sickly.

I literally fit in every tone except cool.....I'm redhead, brown eyes, freckles yet asian back ground...this is driving me nuts

I have blue and purple veins but when I go in the sun I burn then tan. My eyes are a gray blue colour 🙈

So, I don't fit any of these. The vein test(blue/purple) says I'm have cool. But the hair(strawberry blonde when younger but not whitish blonde as I've aged) & eye tests(hazel) say I'm warm.I'm really confused. 67yrs old & still can't figure it out!

Every single time I have been color matched they tell me I am neutral yet only one foundation in the line will work and I usually have to tan or it's too dark. Pink based foundations make me look dead and yellow based make me look orange. Every line's "neutral" is usually off as well. Come to find out, I have a fair, warm olive undertone. The reason only one foundation shade would work is because it was the one olive shade in the line and it was "medium" so I always had to mix, or tan my skin. I don't know why this was so hard to realise when my youngest daughter, for reasons unknown has obvious olive skin. White girls are programmed to think we are either pink or yellow undertoned. Even white girls have various ethnic ancestry that come through in our coloring.

My skin looks very yellow and I got green veins, etc... But I look my best in silver , and in "cool-friendly" colors 🫠
