Hmm just love your 2CV6 if it were me i wanna get a 2CV6 Club and with a 25 liter tank gets pretty good mileage love to see if you have a Citroen Dyane 6 little bit more HP like 34HP but yeah you can also upgrade the gas tank to be about 38 liters which is decent size gas tank tbh

This one has a 38 liter gas tank from Burton car company. And a visa engine with 45BHP goes pretty well. The time I made this movie it had a big bore kit (652cc) with around 35/36bhp

@@rafaellomacchiato8113 in this very movie the car is running a 652 big bore engine, but for the last 3 years it’s running a 45BHP visa engine

@ the visa also had a 2 cilinder engine similar to the 2cv engine with a few changes it will fit straight in

I drove one with a straight pipe but THAT's loud ... I once had to change the exhaust along the road in the middle of the night with a hangover, just to not attract the police :-)

@@johnny_salmon there is an extra outlet pipe on the standard 1st damper. So practically yes but still connected for better torque

Absolutely insanely nice sounding car man. Can you please see if you can do a really really long ASMR video if you’re driving this thing through town and on the highway and if you can shift it at the absolute highest RPM possible because the higher the RPM the better it sounds And if you can include start up, give it a really really I’d love to hear all that thanks man and stay safe and have a great one and I hope all is well with you and your family

@@codykennedy19 sadly enough the car doesn’t have the same exhaust anymore. The dampers were completely rotten that’s why it sounded this good. I might have some more shorts coming with the old sound as in the video.

@@kingofvintage7482 I totally understand and I was actually wanting to know. Do you think you could do some more inside driving and shifted at the highest RPM possible and take it on the interstate as well as the city because your car sounds amazing even without the exhaust.

@@kingofvintage7482 2CV's are nice and light which is why it goes that bit much faster. Tuned 2CV's will do 0-100kmh in 17 seconds.

I had one year ago and took it to the Sahara and back over the Alps doing 11 countries - I went the other way and fitted the lower compression van engine to cope with the low octane fuels - I wondered how it might cope with converting to diesel?

2cv is an abbreviation of the French "deux chevaux" which means two horses. Only the very earliest 2cv models qualify.

"CV" standing for CheVaux is a tax category in France, loosely calculated after the actual power and some other criteria. Not to be confused with "cv" ("chevaux vapeur") an ancient unit of power from the times of steam engines. 1 cv was about 735 Watts. The 2CVs with motors up to 435 cm3 were actually 2 CV. Later, 2CV6 powered by the 602 cm3 were officially 3 CV and taxed accordingly though still called "Deux chevaux"

Thank you. That was fun. You're obviously familiar. Nice shifting. Only once crunch on a downshift. I didn't notice any double-shifting. Does the supposedly-primitive 2cv have synchro? It appears in good, albeit tarnished, condition. I like original. Have you had it long?

Thanks! You’re right I am familiar with the 2cv I grew up with them. The 2cv has al the gears on synchro except for 1ste gear. Right now I have had it for 3 years and drove about 115000 kilometers in it. Build it 3 years ago from all stuff laying around.

Een lna heeft net zulke smalle bandjes, hetzelfde vermogen en een laag gewicht. Zou aardig goed moeten gaan. Je komt er maar op een manier achter 😉

Remember first time after mounting side pipe to my 2cv's existing 44mm Y exhaust system, was night and got completely shocked thinking somebody was inside the bushes at my driveway as it was shaking like crazy. Turns out it just being the exhaust, if you walked by the car when ildeling you almost got kicked down if you weren't prepared for it.

End results was 48bhp. There are small plans to get the bhp up higher. But none the less a great result for a standard visa Engine with 720cc

@@kingofvintage7482 19 bhp is a big increase for a 2CV due to how light it is and if you add more mods like a turbo that's at least 20bhp more. You can do anything to a Citroen flat twin and they won't blow.

@@jaggass is disagree with that😂 a 2cv engine will blow and will break😅 they’re strong but not invincible My car in particular is pretty heavy for a 2cv (got a roll cage and loads of spare parts) so the 48 bhp act like a fast big bore in a normal light 2cv. Uphill tho is where you can feel the torque from the 720cc engine I will blast past 650 and 602 engines in way lighter 2cv’s This engine in a standard 2cv should be quit a thing

@@kingofvintage7482 720cc 2CV's accelerate uphill which stock ones don't. Hubnut drove a 720cc 2CV and that did 0-100kmh in 18 secs. 2CV engines are strong engines.

@@jaggass have you driven one? 720cc is amazing but a 2cv won’t become a race car. I tink hubnut his reaction is overreacted. A 720cc will accelerate on a small hill but in France you will slow down on the big hills. 720cc is still a 2cv but with more torque

God I want one of these or a Beetle really badly but it's been a struggle to find something that's close enough to where I live. I don't have a trailer or anything so it would need to move on it's own but also not be in top notch condition so that it fits in my budget and that hasn't really happend yet, gonna have to keep an eye out though
