Waitress in diner, to Fields -> There's something awfully big about you .... Fields -> Thank you dear, thank you dear, thank you dear. Waitress -> Your nose The waitress turns around and bends over the counter to wipe it clean Fields stares at her LARGE rear end and mumbles "There's something awfully big about you too.

You are welcome. And thank you for the comment. Is that a tail number? If so, right on brother. My wife and I are sneeking up to our 53rd. So far so good. Haha. May you and yours stay well and prosper too my friend.

@@Scharpy1 University of Illinois, Institute of Aviation 1967, give or take 6 months. 8 flight courses, 1 + 2 + 2 + 3, for 4 semesters. The tail number was for a Champion 7FC Tri-Traveller (Tri -Champ), nose wheel, the tail draggers were Aeronca 7EC Champions. No flying since then. I never thought anyone would notice? 7-0-Echo (seven zero echo). The wife and I, 54 years, 6 kids, 16 grandkids. Stay safe.

I see different accounts of RTC and none were like mine in '76. We didn't do anything but take tests and stencil clothes and shine shoes and go to the dentist. We went to the TDE ship and polished the brass (and painted it for Don Rickles to film CPO Sharkey). We never handled any firearm nor learned anything like tying knots. We hit the water once for the swim test. We never played basketball or volleyball. We barely did PE at all. The day we had gas chamber I had a dental appt. Honestly it was 7 weeks of smoking cigs and shooting the breeze. Afterwards we went downtown to Sailortown strip joints at 8:00 a.m. and were bored so we got a Motel 8 and passed out and missed all of liberty. I never saw any of the guys again.
