There was a hotfix yesterday maybe this was fixed? I watched the cutscene where Marazhai attacks the castle, I had the voiceover there. Perhaps we're talking about some specific scenes?

@@nyloth Its a PS5 problem it seems. My friends on PS5 have the same problems. Not the ones on PC. Not "only" cutscene, nobody talks to me anymore. It seems my crew hates me. LOL

Larian also started with this, but there is a minus here. if the money comes from the outside, then this can affect the plot and characters. publishers often put a spoke in the wheel. would we have a character like mara if the game had a publisher? the big question.

@@nyloth Right I wouldn't trust any publisher this day to not hamstring creativety and sanitize the game for the mythical "modern audience". Though I think if they need to turn to the community to crowd fund the game like they did with pathfinder. The community won't like disappoint they just need to add more stretch goals.

@@nicbahtin4774 Yes, quite possibly. They already have some new project in the works. But they probably need to switch to a different engine if they want to make their games more visually appealing. And while their games are beautifully designed, we all know that people love cinematics.

Вопросы не совсем по теме. Мара в любом случае убивает родственницу Абеляра в концовке? Еще заметила, что ты используешь тойбокс, а вот у меня он чёт не работает, просто пустой менеджер. Решение не нашла(

Я думаю там спутаны слайды и это баг. Он убивает родственницу "со своей бандой". Банда у него только в пиратской концовке. Предполгалаю, что в архонтовской так быть не должно. По поводу той бокса сложно что-то посоветовать. Нужно или актуальную версию скачать или вы не открыли меню. У меня была похожая проблема, но я уже не помню как решила. Но элементарное решение было, на редите или нексусе точно можно найти если на английском гуглить. Типа попробуйте просто стрелочкой нажать на надпись тойбокс, я знаю глупо, но вдруг...

Not sure if I will play Dom or Sub....At first I thought to myself: "Hey, this time you could date Hendrix and condemn Mara in the friendzone." But...let's face it, that will never happen. However, I find it amusing that Mara calls Hendrix a breeding stallion. (I truly hope its the right translation.) Have you ever dated another character?

@@teteiyus5762 I started playing the game for Heine, I didn't know Mara existed! So I saw that line, haha. But I never completed Heine's romance until the end. I've completed Jae's romance because you can complete it up to the point of choosing between two characters. With the others, I haven't tried it. I think Heine's romance is also good and detailed, the character has the same writer as Mara. But the tone of the narration is completely different, so romantic. But nevertheless, I always choose Marazhai. I also really like the jealousy moments, so the romance with Heine and Mara is a lot of fun.

I actually love romantic characters and Hendrix is a great character but...well, you know. xD So you didn't know about Mara? Did you see him at the opera straight away? If I hadn't known he was there, I would have missed him. With the jealousy moment you mean the moment when you have to choose between Mara and Hendrix? or is there another scene i don't know?

@@teteiyus5762 I literally didn't know he was a companion. I jumped into the game without any knowledge of companions. Hein was the only interesting male on the main cover, so I thought he was an option. I thought Mara was just a cool villain, and then WOW HE'S A COMPANION, WOW I CAN KISS HIM. It's a pleasant surprise, haha. They have a jealous barter dialog where Hein tells Marazhai to stay away from rt, and Marazhai responds that rt lets him have more and that's why Hein gets mad. As far as I know without romance this dialog isn't there.

Late to the comments, but when he thanks you for "giving him everything" and for trusting him the morning after ascension, that to me reads as much more genuine expressions of love. I think the words "I love you" are pretty meaningless to Astarion in general; he's probably said them to countless people when he didn't really mean it in order to do Cazador's bidding. If he loves someone, he's going to show it in different ways. He clearly values trust over just, "I love you." He develops love for you because you trust him and show him he can trust you, and he expresses his love by showing you your trust in him wasn't for nothing, such as when he proves he's serious about not making you "some spawn" by giving you some of his blood.

I totally get being into him, and nothing against your preferences but it does continue the cycle the abuse and it is the bad ending for Astarion, that we have to agree on. When he ascends he becomes who he hated, A slap in the face to who he was, it is not a decision he takes with a straight mind in so many forms.

I regret , at least not picking one of the nicer choices anyway. I got the one that who's to say that he doesn't. Like what they have his fake. I had a good aligned character well mostly good. But she truly did care for him it's why she went through with the ascension She didn't have to help him didn't have to protect him all this time. Heck she was a front liner while he was in the back She took all the beatings for him whenever they fought their enemies
