Watching TOWCA, I always set the dive time on my watch, even though I'm 2000 miles from the ocean. It's that inspiring. Hoo-yah! ⚓️

I was stationed in Panama at Howard AFB in the late 70's to 80ites. During that time I did a lot of diving. I came across a wreck out of Portobello close to the entrance of the Panama Canal. This wreck was one of the sisters' ships that left Portobello and got caught in a hurricane, and all 3 went down. From what we know the mother ship was carring 380 million in gold and silver. Never to be found. This, according to records went down on Devil's point, located just across the entrance of the Canal. When the Panama Canal was built, the entire Canal was dredged and dumped out in the ocean. What we saw and found on the wreck we dove was amazing and clearly we have been lied to about the technology we processed. We found lots of cannons, timbers, spikes, pewter syringes, bailing wire, pots made of brass, pewter plates, forks, knives, and spoons, which had the apostles on top. There were ballast stones scathered all around. The wreck was located in about 20 to 30 feet of water. Each time we came up, our skin was covered with a black film around our mask and hands, which was silver oxide, we never found much silver, only a few pieces, no gold even though we felt there was some there. We maged this entire area, including Devil's Point, and go no hits. I am sure many by now have dove this site. I have maps that show it's there.

From The Bahamas! Great job! There is another area that I've been very curious about since I was little. Its located in Nassau, directly opposite an area called Fort Charlotte. There are cannons pointing towards the sea. The Fort was erected to keep the pirates away! I've often wondered how many of their ships might have gotten blasted, and sunk, that might have been carrying treasure ! I hope you'll make this your next project! We really appreciate people such as yourself, showing the world, that the Bahamas is not just Sun, Sand and Sea, but it is Living History! God Bless! God Bless!

I've watched every vid on this channel and I have right from the start. Thank you guys so much! However... uhm, can I bring up something kind of... awkward? Motherload is not a word or a term. I think it's a misspelling. The word you're looking for is motherlode.

Great video and start of a potentially great podcast. The advancements in technology over the last thirty years are game changing. Hopefully the days of find, grab and take are behind us I live on Grand Bahama and the area from West End all the way to Allan’s Pensocala Cay has many wrecks. Looking forward to following your pod cast.
