Rhyne Howard left the last game with a ankle injury. She's most likely is out today. Considering her poor performance when she was active I don't think they miss her today. Atlanta dream are a far better defensive team. When Fever beat a contender I will know they've turned the corner. As of now they are still over achieving

I'm backing Dream as I don't feel they still have enough to win on the defensive end of the floor. Howard has avg just 14 ppg for the season which is low for her ceiling

Wings going get blown out. When handicapping games you have to look at them independent of each other. Outliers and anomalies are intrinsic to athletic competition but laws never change. You are who you are. Sun have a +22 point margin vs Wings. The gap between these teams is massive.

The Aces have been a poor defensive team for years. They've won outscoring opponents leading the league in offense @ #1. Chelsea Grey will improve their efficiency vs the better teams at the top but for now they are missing her vs the better teams. Sparks was bad loss. It can't be ignored

Lynx ML 🎁 Aces are no where near the team they were last season. In 3/4 of their losses they avg just 68 ppg and thats with Aja having a career season putting up 20 in consecutive games. 2 of those losses coming to teams below avg all made possible by their poor defense. Watching Aces allow a Sparks team hang 96 points when they only avg 65 should be GLARING to the current state of their defensive effort. Aces outscored opponents to back to back championships but their Defense has always been in question and teams have caught on. Aces are very vulnerable when they cant score. Lynx hold a +14 edge over Aces In this series and Aces haven't closed that gap whatsoever vs contenders imo. Looking at their schedule they havent played anyone. Aces are 0-2 vs winning teams abv avg by a deficit margin of -14.

Odds makers had it right at -12.5 moved it towards the heavy action coming in on Fever down to -10.5 It's quite hilarious when there is nothing indicating Fever will be competitive vs Sun lol

Mystics ML without Sykes. They are definitely better defensively than Sky and should get their offense back in gear. The desperation alone they will play with to get their 1st win of the season at home is enough for me to play the ML
