Thanks Andreas, you managed to catch us 4 around 2 minutes in. It brought back some happy memories from there. We liked it at this hotel so much, that we're going back again in September, for 3 weeks.

Dave, thanks for your comment. As you can see, it was the second time we were there and we were really thinking about going on holiday there again this year. But you also have to do something different. Don't forget the Platinum Club...

To tell the truth, I don't really think Platinum is really worth it. When we heard some of the Platinum guests complaining about the noise from the Promenade at night, we thought we're better off staying where we were. The food in the Buffet restaurant was excellent, so really there's not much point in paying the extra, that way the money I've saved, I can use to go to the bars outside the hotel and watch the football.

@@davewaller5255 Platinum is not just “better” food, no, it is service at breakfast and dinner. This is luxury and we enjoy it. There are also areas reserved for club members. Let's think about the roof terrace, where there are no hordes of drunks making noise. Of course there is football there too. You have to know what you're worth. Have a nice holiday!

Hello Joanna, we were there at the end of November and beginning of December. According to the weather report, the waves were up to 2.50 meters large. That could be true, there was really something going on in the sea.

nice looking place , was thinking of booking but one big NO from me is the bathroom area , why put a bath in the middle of the room and as for glass doors on the toilet.... no thanks

Hi Tania, ich habe keine Ahnung wo du Kinder gesehen hast - jedenfalls nicht im RIU Palace Zanzibar, dort gibt es keine Kinder.

Hello, we stayed at the RIU Palace. A great place. Yes you can walk towards Jambo on the beach. In the video you can see this at the restaurant on the pier.

Great hotel but the bedrooms with baths IN the rooms (in the words of my wife) “have obviously been designed by a man.”

A tub in the room is just "in" at the moment. Do you need that? No! No man can have designed that, a shower is enough for us. The "room tubs" all looked like new, but there is still a shower.

Hallo, ja es hat uns gut gefallen. Leider war die zweite Woche etwas vom Regen begleitet. Allerdings haben uns die Malediven im Cinnamon Velifushi noch besser gefallen ....LG

It's an adult hotel, a very nice one in fact, and is frequented from 18 to 80.
