If you heat vitamin C above 165, it breaks down into basic components that our body cant use to recreate vitamin C. So those oranges and lemons are only for flavor at that point. We have to consume vitamin C in its completed raw form because the human body lost the ability to make it, from nutrients we eat, thousands of years ago. We are one of very few animals that had this happen. Even goats can still make thier own vitamin C in thier body.....

@@CookingwithGangstaChefCabrini raw uncooked broccoli has more vitamin c than oranges....raw green chili too, but broccoli goes better in a smoothie or in salad, dip, even icecream if made well. There are so many options that have the goal you intend. Just a few MINOR tweeks and you have it. Keep on trying to improve health and healthy habits. You are an inspiration just in your efforts. Lets help people experience the results you invision and they need. Thank you for your passion.

CONGRATULATIONS! I was hooked immediatly with the song choice. I grew up in Pennsylvania and my family were fans of all things Pittsburgh sports related. When I was 10 years old and recall hearing this song at Three Rivers Stadium at the Pirates ball games. They went on to a Championship in 79 due to this song and Willie Stargell. I still dance to it as I did back then but with a little better rhythm than I had back then, I hope. LOL I know I do not know you, but after reading your intro, I just wanted to say that I am happy for you and the decision made. I know how much a decision like that can weigh and once you make it, it is as if your feet lift off of the ground in happiness. Then we find ourselves asking what took us so long to come to this point. But, life is a journey and lots of lessons to learn for those paying attention. I am happy that you are and looking forward to what you are going to be sharing with the world. Lord knows it/we need some inspiration after the last few years. Until then, HAPPY NEW YEAR and CONGRATULATIONS! BTW, I used to live on 3rd & Bixel and we moved to Eagle Rock a few months ago. Already planning heading back as soon as our lease is up.
