I feel like Mercy can only do as much as her team is doing. If you're stuck with low end DPS that can't hit anything, you're stuck healing Ultimates chargers for the enemy team. Any other supports bring some kind of their own ways of influencing a fight.

@@verdandur yeah that’s fair but part of being a good mercy is identifying which teammates are worth your support. Obviously heal everyone but damage boost and rez on key targets goes a hell of a long way.

Bro that’s just categorically untrue. The power of consistent healing and damage boost on top of rez can have game changing effects. A good mercy can absolutely carry in my experience as a mercy main at least to higher diamond.

@@FlatliningContradiction Rez is not as important as speed and damage. Plus Mercy can only heal/boost one person at a time, unlike Brig and Lucio. She’s incredibly outmatched in high ranks.
