beyond me ...i'm a 66 old bass player ... is an unbelievable pleasure to watch youngsters virtuosos not just taking the tradition of jazz through generations but improving it ,giving not experienced yet flavors to it . BRAVO !

Dear Caroline You have very tastefull sound.... I think that in theese years You practise the upright too much, but.... Look at Mr. P.C..... Thumb position is an open space for a soloist, interstellar space... But... If the language is in your mind You don't need thumb position to build a solo.... Mr PC was a great soloist, but he often plays his solo lines away from high thumb positions.... The note that you have in your mind is more important of the ability or speed of your hands.... Speed and technical ability are good quality, but only if your mind "decides" what your hands play after.... Escuse me for my bitonal English!!! :-) :-) :-) My mind is slowest than my hands in this language!!!
@goodactor44626 жыл бұрын
I think you are on a very good way. If you can, don't block your Mind with technical things, let go and enjoy yourself and the music you make than ist will be great!!!
