Pastor Burns: my wife and I asked Christ to be an equal partner in our marriage 50+ years ago. When you talk of expectations ; the LORD kept us both following Him by His Holy Standard of truth, and my opinion is that we never felt a struggle because very early on we practiced turning to Him for help through all the difficult times. To the extent that the good times overshadow the bad so that the bad times are easily forgotten ! SO what I am recommending to anyone listening is PUT CHRIST 1ST. and walk with Him .(Galatians 5:16) God bless you all during this shut down , It is now March 21.
