I really liked Elle, shame she didn't stay longer.

I started watching Criminal Minds around December 2022. I was sad when I found out she left 😭 but still I continued the show although I didn’t like the changes too much. Especially when Gideon left. But in my head, Elle did come back. She got to actually be more focused and be more cautious of her actions. She meets Prentiss and Rossi and got to be close with Penelope and JJ. Her friendship with Spencer would continue to grow and they’re friendship will be the most unbreakable one out of everyone. She’d be the first to notice the problem with him and will be able to help Reid. It’s just my wishful thinking, okay? Do not attack me. 🥲

My favorite moment of Morgan's is when he told that kid who nearly killed his little sister and was probably a psychopath, "Not if I show up to every parole hearing. And you can count on that. Now GET IN THE CAR!!!" I'm not saying you have to go through this in order to find it satisfying, but as someone who was almost killed by his older brother, it was extremely fucking satisfying to watch that turd get pushed in head first.

apparently, since mgg and shemar were always playing pranks on the cast and crew, the crew decided to get them back with the first jolt. so, the first drop of the elevator was a prank, and their reactions are genuine. also, the elevator was meant to get stuck, but it wasn’t supposed to shake the way it did😹

I still think it was a huge mistake to not have Spencer and Elle be a couple. I've really thought about this concept and the best way I can explain it is like this, Elle would have turned Spencer into a man...yes probably a very overused cringe line, but just go with me on this one for a second. Within the context of a romantic relationship, Elle would have challenged the hell out of Spencer. Elle is a beautiful, sophisticated, smart, experienced, right to the point type of woman who could have pretty much whatever man she wanted, but developed feeling for Spencer instead and will make demands of him that would give Spencer tons of experience, from communication to sex, to social interactions with other people besides Elle. She's gonna give him shit if he forgets her birthday because he was too busy researching some random topic to notice, she's gonna push him to connect with other people and do things that are outside of his comfort zone even though he rather read some new book. Not only would she encourage Spencer, but she would support him in his hobbies because of her high level of respect for him developed through their friendship. This type of character development and characterization would go both ways, Spencer would provide a sense of stability, and different type of strength that she would find very attractive. Even though he's not physically imposing, she knows he's a strong man when he confronts that serial killer holding a little girl hostage. The way he spends time taking care of his mentally ill mother in the hospital and the way he interacts/treats with people with kindness. She knows that if she goes to far with her dominant personality, Spencer will check her ass quick adding to the respect factor. She also knows he's not interested in chasing other women around because of his love for her. Whatever issues she has, he will have her back and the one of the best parts is that Spencer would challenge Elle mentally. Elle knows she has to stay quick on her toes around Spencer, devote more time to reading and probably improve various aspects of herself making her a more well-rounded character. I'm not saying the relationship would have lasted forever, but definitely would have been extremely good and memorable. This could of been the Criminal Minds legacy couple, just about every show has that one or two couples you love or wish would became a thing. The writers made Reid go after JJ, but all she did was treat him like he was some weirdo in that first season. I get it, she rather has a suave cool and collected badass like Derek Morgan, but I gotta give it to Elle for not making fun of Reid and being pretty straightforward with him. People in the show often treat him like he's some kind of freak, but he's actually that type of guy you want as a friend, male or female. If you've seen the show you know what I'm talking about. I know a lot of people saw them as brother and sister, I can understand that perspective, but they could have been much more than just bickering teens.
