The Scripture of Deliverance of Maitreya Buddha 三災八難不來侵 san zai ba nan bu lai qing The sincere cultivators may not experience three disasters and eight calamities. The three disasters : • flood • fire • tornado. The eight calamities : • drought • flood • famine (hunger) • plague (uncured disease) locusts (grasshopper) • • fierce animals • • monsters demons Cultivator may not experience disasters and calamities, but will experience life obstacle and hurdle.

Pu Tai is the same divine spirit as Maitreya Buddha and the Fat Buddha. It is the same divine being with different names.

Hi Joanna, months ago I started using your videos to study the Dao De Jing in depth, but then I stopped because you didn't upload anything after chapter 26. Is it possible to know if you are going to upload more chapters between the 26th and the 58th? Regardless, you have been a great teacher to me, thank you❤

Thanks for following closely on the videos in my Tao Te Ching channel. I have not uploaded anything for a period of time because I took a long break. In the future, I am planning to temporary stop the sharing on the Tao Te Ching because I plan to start on the sessions on Heart Sutra. After completing the sessions on the Heart Sutra, I would continue on the Tao Te Ching sharing.

If the insurance did not cover, I think I will still accept whatever it comes. I trust the universe has a bigger plan for me. What I can see is limited, thus, I trust whatever the universe brings to me!

Thank you Mrs. Lin. Another great lesson. Thanks especially for clarifying the meaning and context of the original words, putting it into context with other Eastern thoughts and beliefs, and making very good analogies to the religions and thinkers of my Western culture. The Tao Te Ching is full of so much resonant truth. I also like the examples from science and biology, its very in line with modern process reality/science/metaphysics/philosophy. And so pertinent to say to day life. Thank you so much.

Why do you have 故常, 無 and 常,有 ? Shouldn't it be 故常無, and 常有, (with the commas after 無 and 有?

yeah, i agree with you. It all depends on how we interpreted from our own perspective. There are different ways to explain the line with different placement of punctuation. It is really hard to explain from one perspective because we do not know where the "comma" is. In the original text of Tao Te Ching, there is no comma, no period, no punctuation at all. The best way to explain is by Laozi. Thus, to answer your question, there are different way to place the comma, which will all be fine. We have no way to tell which is Laozi's perspective.

Thank you very much for this lesson. This is very knowledgeable. I really appreciate the effort, and convergent/divergent comparisons to western (and other) religions and modern biology/complex systems. Thank you for explaining the original words and breaking down the characters. You have done a good job as well pointing out to the Tao as preceding all social and religious constructs without disparaging them as something that doesn’t come out of deeper nature, but we often forget to guide it with true nature. I look forward to continuing my studies of the Tao Te Ching with you.

Some people want to hinder your growth, help your growth, or boost off your growth or take credit for the image to build themselves, but not the actually family or unit, of the establishment. I say, let them drown in their miseries of wanting to see me beneath, hurt, or failed, cause , they do not understand. I sure, thank you for show your positive understanding and disagree in a manner way, that doesn't make me love you no less or more. I simply, dont blame the other nations for my rebellion, stiff neck, or evil roots of my own children branch. I just want to start over to multiply better , bigger, and cleaner, like anyone else should do. I can't teach a dog new ways, nor can I enslaved a cat. So it just makes since to start in the youth of a generation to reprogram and mold to be decent human beings. So that why I am staying away from them, they are surrounded by negative topics , strife, and teaching nothing with factual or things needed in the real world to advance. Like you stated, alot people that get a you tube channel , it the same thing being taught, attention seekers, or simply trying find a easy living. I still want to interact with the real world. I hope to start my profession soon, but I don't want to have to stop or have to compromise my goals for another being to keep getting ahead. I have to be able to be comfortable and safe environment to do so,. So it more to think about then, to just rush yourself into things , that seen good at the time. No I consider patience now, and take all the time I have. It me that doing it, so it shouldn't bother anyone, what I want to do with my space, time, and thoughts. For now I will leave this here, for you all.

Yeah, humanity is in depressing Atmospheres of worlds. I would recommend meditation and staying away from subjects, topics, and strife tongues. Follow good , clear, and sound solutions. Never ever let anyone chose your life and death decisions. I am fine doves, I have accepted my faith fate and enjoy what I do each day. The most highness give me, is always directed in a positive, informative, and reasonable answers for my Shift 8 Academy. Don't read information without understanding.
