Thank you. The $8 app will be worth it for me after just 2 or 3 uses. When I saw it was an app I had to buy to email the svg I was hesitant and tried opening a different app. That other app was $30/year and I couldn’t figure out how to bring in a screenshot. So the one time $8 purchase was well worth it. Thanks again.

You do not need to bleed brakes when replacing pads and or pads and rotors. If I replaced a caliber I would. You only bleed the brakes when there is air in the lines.

Nice reminder. Sometimes I forget to look at the cut menu. I am Curious, what speeds and feeds do you use for your 1/4in bit for the TeleCaster cut? Feed Rate: 180 in/min Plunge Rate: 12 in/min Depth Per Pass: 0.02756 in ?
@ThatWoodenFlag3 ай бұрын
When i did it on my onefinity i did it at 120 Speed, 60 Plunge and .08 per pass. took 30 minutes to cut the entire guitar. You could go up to 180/90/.08 which would change it to about 25 mins. I would keep it at 120/60/.08

It does not seem like you can make any complicated inlays with this software. If it has any small details as part of the plug it does not seem to allow the 1/2 depth of the wood to stay in tact and just insert the plug. I have been looking at doing some inlays here lately and have not seen anyone that is doing any type of real complicated inlays like you can find on other software.

Thanks for the tips, it is very much appreciated. How would you go about cutting out the bass around the edges?
@ThatWoodenFlag10 ай бұрын
If I wanted to cut the bass out to its shape, I would use the off setter app and create an outline at about .25 inches that should create a nice boundary around it. Then you can just tell that boundary to cut to full depth with whatever bit you wanted to use most likely a 1/8 inch end mill.

Used it for circle cutting by pinning the middle of the work piece into the table and rotating it. Circle was bigger than the work area. Dude, please dont use gloves when operating a rotary tool - this is how you lose fingers.
