all detectors discriminate! And auto ground balance any idiot can run this machine with no skills . This is a good machine would you still have to learn to run it and understand what it saying. It has a different sound for every type of mail hot rocks all of that ! Do you know gold will cancel out it’s own signal. And iron signal and gold signal or two different entities. Yeah you go over them nails a few times and emailed your headphones to your head a few more times in your brain melt it won’t even be able to run A machine. Your brain will automatically blocked them sensory overload. Use headphones so you can hear the machine then maybe you could start to learn how it runs everything has a different sound everything reacts differently so there’s more than one way to tell but if you can’t hear the detector you’re never gonna learn let alone try to give people lessons and you can’t hear the damn detector. Oh that’s right your teaching people how to use the idiot gauge. Which will work for a lot of people that never learn how to run a detector monsters good for that and they could still get gold. Sorry I’m just a grumpy old timer I’m gonna see you get past this you may have skills in the future. The skills apply to all detectors you learn the skills and you can pick up any detector and discriminate with it in more than one way. Very good job on that KZbin video. Do you know that any videos that you make and publish can be tracked to the exact spot that you made it so careful on those protected spots

You can’t run them detectors without headphones! Or should I say you can’t hear the detector without headphones or or you will never learn what the detector saying . Sorry I’m just a grumpy old timer! I think anybody doesn’t wear headphones when they’re hunting for gold is an idiot ! It seems like a disease one idiot teaching the next idiot on KZbin how to hunt for gold. I hunt with some of the best detectors in the world and they can’t run a detector without headphones.

The the DD is shieldedIt’s not more sensitive in the center and put the square signal down in the ground. Mono Coil gives you a cone Signal and the edges are more sensitive

does a 6000 still find bigger and deeper nuggets? i typically dont care about finding anything under a gram in size when hunting

The 6000 is slightly more sensitive and should detect slightly smaller and deeper gold with the same size coil. Keep in mind that the axiom comes stock with two coils, with one being a 13" coil that will go deeper than the stock 6000 coil. The 6000 is an amazing machine, but in my opinion it is nowhere near worth $2,500 more than the axiom.

@@MountaineerMatt well I know the 7000 goes the deepest but it’s so pricey and a decade old and really heavy from what I’ve heard. I’m trying to look into the best possible detector for big gold and depth to use in tandem with my gold monster.

@@PhaseSkater if price is no issue, then the 7000 is best for big deep gold but it misses "smaller" gold. The gm1000 will detect small and medium gold at shallow depth but will miss deeper medium gold. You will still need something for medium gold at depth, which would be an axiom, or a 6000 with a larger coil. This all depends on the ground you're working and if there is a lot of trash or not. Large coils are a nightmare in trashy areas

@@MountaineerMatt I had my best luck detecting in Arizona. Ground wasn’t too bad. I live in Oregon though. If I go to places to detect, it’s volcanic basalt areas in eastern Oregon or super red mineralized soil in southern Oregon or California motherload area when I visit. So something with depth that handles hot rocks and red soils would be great.
