I love watching the Zephyr pulling out, those 2 attached engines are soo big. Of course, to pull those connected cars. The sleeper car feature shown as the Superliner. Amtrak really showcase their integrity for, the.mode of travel on behalf, of its passengers. Distinguished presentation of what Amtrak provides, ongoing daily basis. Assuring the purpose of dedication. Amtrak.is loyal to their passengers, who entrust their well-being in every way. Protocol tactics is a must, which they don't slack.one bit. It's Railroadingat its best! No qualms here on.my end. I'm a happy camper literally! Smile.The embodiment of what the fleet represents. Track layout, the engineers are very productive, collaborating amongst each other. Harmoniously! KUDOS!! Smile. If I'm not mistaken, I recall back in the late 50's, also 60's, of acknowledging how big the diesel engine was. Of the New/York New Haven/Hartford train. Coming from Grand Central Terminal, enroute to Berlin, New Haven, Wallingford etc. All the stations I was able to be at, traveling back & forth. With.my siblings & mother. The quaintness, the innocence, serenity, very appealing back then. Still the train horn sounds, the clanging sound inside the 1st engine, alerting to go. Or Coming into the station itself. I was soo mesmerized upon seeing, and hearing those trains. Adventure for me, because I truly feel as though, I'm traveling right along with the passengers.

wait a minute!!! he climbed more than 6'! there should be a safety cage so he doesn't fall. and why aren't those doors locked? any terrorist could gain access to controls and crash the train.

I was traveling from Omaha, Nebraska to Marysville, Calif in 1961 straight out of boot camp. I remember the man who took my ticket to be stamped and nudged me back into my seat like I was infringing on his territory. If I knew what I knew now I would have taught him a lesson in courtesy. He wouldn't have like my lesson.

I was a big Amtrak fan until the Amtrak crew working with local police violated my constitutional rights with illegal search and seizure never again Amtrak you have lost a life long customer you violated my trust that I would have a safe and uneventful trip I hope and pray the government defunds you if you are going to take part of this fascist practice.

thats a tall train...he literally had to climb 😮 but does it need to have two engines to pull few coaches
@billglaser5 жыл бұрын
Anil Kumar redundancies, there’s been cases of one engine failing so you have to use the second engine to push on. It’s a loooong Trip and the train doesn’t change until the destination.
@donaldthomas70704 жыл бұрын
Also, this is mountainous country with many long, steep grades. Both engines do a lot of work.

Great video, but those bells! I realise why. We have high platforms in Australia so no people can walk on the track.
