i've got one, heavy beast alright. cut quality and power, runtime all brilliant. i have a quarter acre mainly buffallo and i'm lucky to use 1 bar for the whole mow. Cut quality compared to the domestic EGO is chalk and cheese. It's a weapon.

Typical electrician leave shit everywhere. So hard to pick up cable tie and wire cuttings.

I have one, it's a beast.. cut some long grass with it, just powers through, & great run time... 👌

I just purchased a ego trimmer & I'm very impressed with it. I looked at their mowers & the one I'm interested in isn't available in Australia yet. Might be the one you mentioned, sounds like you are very happy with this brand & their reliability.

@@davidstatham7760 Unfortunately no gear is perfect … I would rate EGO a bit like Toyota, they have some hits and misses, but overall it’s a pretty safe buy. The EGO Batteries and charging systems are the best and as the batteries are the most expensive that’s the most important. There’s only 3 EGO mowers I would buy, the 50cm steel deck in this video and the commercial alloy deck, there is another Alloy deck coming soon. The reason they are the only ones I would buy is because they have an unloaded RPM of 3,000 … you need this to cut clean like an internal combustion mower.

How is it on trails?
@garageblitztv32155 жыл бұрын
Hello Brody - the Sub Cross 30 is only Designed for light trails. The frame is plenty tough enough but the front suspension has limited travel. The Sub Cross 30 is more like a SUV - not a soft SUV like a CX5 but more like a Subaru Forester if that makes sense. It’s certainly not a Land Cruiser or have the off road agility like the well sorted suspension set up of the Australian tuned Ford Raptor. Hope that makes sense. If you want a tough Trails bike you need to look at a Scott Spark or Genius. Canondale has also been a favourite of mine and their super light - if your doing some serious tails just ensure you at least get some serious travel shocks on the front like FOX etc. you can get away with still running a hard tail at the back unless to are into some serious down hills 😉

Do you know where the Norsk tiles are made, USA/China/Mexico/Scandinavia?? Here in the states they are mail order only so you can't see them up front. Also, which is your preference coin or diamond? Wondering which is easier to move my motorbikes and creeper around on.
@garageblitztv32155 жыл бұрын
Hello Doug - they are made in China. Looks are very subjective and is a personal thing, but for me I like the Dimond tiles as the coin pattern looks old school. As for motorbikes you will find the kickstand will eventually sink into the tile and leave a mark.

So, the four levels are: 1. Interlocking PVC (<$30/m2) of which Norsk is one of the better ones. 2. Polypropylene co-polymer tiles (like Eagle Pro)? 3. Industrial epoxy paint 4. Porcelain tiles Incidentally, Eagle Pro are $44/m2 with shipping included (to Qld). That excludes trim. Norsk PVC are $53/m2). Any thoughts on Rustoleum Rock Solid (kits available at Bunnings)?
@garageblitztv32156 жыл бұрын
Roger Patterson - wow things have gone up in price recently! FYI - we did a garage recently with our CGC-Custom Garage Cabinets and the customer used Porcelain Garage tiles which he acquired for $27 per M2. So it’s a no brainer what to do.

But what about the cost of paying someone to lay the porcelain tiles? How much does it cost on average to tile a 40sqm garage?

Very informative vid thank you! Q. At 9:53 the name of the product you mentioned: is it Eagle Pro at Just Pro Tools?)
@garageblitztv32156 жыл бұрын
Roger Patterson - yes the Eagle Pro while not as good as the AutoDeck or RaceDeck tiles the EaglePro from Just Pro Tools are substantially more affordable. They are the best of the cheaper Polypropylene tiles out there.

Garage Blitz no longer recommends the Norsk PVC tiles as pricing for the Australian market is now far too expensive. There are four levels of garage flooring available to the Australian consumer and PVC tiles are the entry point and should be priced accordingly.
