I love cloth diapers, your video was very informative. Side note- where did you get the jeans your wearing while spraying the diapers? They look so nice!

I put them on cold rinse cycle with a tiny amount of detergent then wash in hot and heavy duty with arm and hammer detergent and extra rinse and they come out clean and smell great. It saves on water and more eco plus I’m broke so I gotta watch how much water I use lol

So sweet. I'm a mama of old kids tweens. But we cloth-diapered them both and it is actually one of the things I miss the most about them being babies! I tried both flats with covers and the all in ones (we stuck to those) as time went on my system got more and more simple. as time went on my system got more and more simple. By the time my second was six months,

Thank you for this, currently pregnant with our first baby and quickly found researching cloth diapering intimidating

I love using what we have too and waiting as long as we possibly can before new grocery store visit. I also love gardening which was an investment at first but very worth it. 🌱

Would love to know your tips and tricks. I had HG last pregnancy and am traumatized and totally understand when people say things like “I just didn’t throw up” and just try to eat this or drink that. So frustrating and feels so lonesome. So sorry you went through that.

Hey Meraki! As an auntie not having children, I'll be coming back to your channel and videos often. Thank you for this, I'm always trying to look out for mom's self care and mental health. And I want to be supportive of moms before and after the baby is here. And thank you for the things that I can put in care packages! By watching this, I can give my cousins who are moms/future moms the breaks they need when I'm called to. There's no manual when it comes to being a parent, and this is the closest thing to it, thank you! I really wish I had your videos in my early 20's when I first started being an auntie, because I wasn't sure how to help. With your videos by my side, I can just look and find the answers I'm looking for.

Great video, can you post link to baby bag shown in video? Also I see you listed Haaka & Momcozy, does 1 need both? What about baby clothes? Baby buggy/carseat? Can you post links, id appreciate it. Thank you

I'm so sorry to have missed your comment! Not sure how I'm just seeing this. I will add the bag link to the description. I found it very helpful to have both a pump and a haaka but I would not say its 100% necessary. I used both of them frequently in the first 2 months postpartum. I am a believer in keeping newborn clothes super simple. They grow so quickly you won't need a ton of options. I have the joovy qool stroller/buggy. It works well but I can't necessarily recommend it. If I did it over again I'd choose something different and less cumbersome.. maybe a side by side. As for the carseat, I have a Britax and it is so heavy. It's difficult to get baby in and out comfortably as well. So I can't say I recommend the one I have honestly. Planning to get a different one for the next baby. (: hope that helps!

I would think putting the wipes on the side saves space for something else. Those outer pockets make more room for stuff to go in larger area. And the wipes on the outside is so handy for quick grabs.

Totally true! It could just be my particular bag but I find it difficult to open the wipes when they’re in the side pocket so that’s one reason I don’t use that part. Maybe other wipe pockets are different! Thanks for the tip (:

I've heard Walmart and Target will exchange diapers to a different size if the box is unopened and it's a brand that they carry. Might want to look into that for your newborn diapers 😊 and I don't even think you need to show a receipt and they didn't even have to be bought at that store, just needs to be a brand that they carry
