Welles plays the arrogant rich guy to perfection.

It's a great scene. The man is so rich and out of touch he doesn't even know that ordinary men find the figures he's shouting to be too outrageous to be real, even when they are.

Easily top 5 in my favorite movies and my favorite Welles film. Directing at its finest. Beautiful man and film.

Hilarious...so obvious that the announcer voice on the speaker is Orson.

That scene when Anthony Perkins is being led away by the two officers through a ruined building is pretty stunning just from a visual aspect. The lighting and the deep focus lens adds an unreal quality to the scene. That stylized approach to filmmaking seems to have faded away in modern times. Modern movie, in opinion are quite timid and seldom take chances for fear of "loosing" their audience. How sad people have become so lazy and cowardly about movies. I think The Trial is my favorite Welles.

Aller, salut mec ;)

Why didnt you include the last scene with Anthony Perkins with this scene. it would have made a better download.. The adagio music is missed here..
