Great layout, well operated, a pleasure to watch. The music happens to be a favourite of mine, but I can understand the comments. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍

Great layout. Watched in in silence as the music is so irritating and inappropriate. I would repost it with new audio

Tyneham, Lytchet, and Corfe Mullen? Are you local to these areas then? I'm Dorset based so these are not far from me.

Epic layout! Has one of the wheels on the wagon behind got a flat on it?!
@Rancidhamster3 ай бұрын
The loco was pushing the flatbed with the camera but was an accurascale manor and the front coupling was not fitted hence the bumpy ride lol

Excellent! I have a Heljan turntable and love it. You have given me some ideas for making bit more realistic. You just need to fit a stay alive to the loco so the sound doesn't cut out on the dead spot 😁
@Rancidhamster3 ай бұрын
Good point on a stay alive capacitor cancelling the dead spot…………

@@Rancidhamster Might be able to install a stay alive to the track so all locos dont cut out. it should be instantly drained when the contacts meet as it finishes the revolution

Hi, great to see a turntable in action especially one that can take a steam locomotive and tender comfortably, If this is the Heljan model it is the best you can get for the money, according a forum I looked at the other day it said that the electronic control system can fail and it’s quite expensive to get a replacement, are there any other control systems that can be used instead of the factory one, the Hornby offering is very old and noisy and very toy like, the Peco one is very bland, the Fleischmann turntable is superb but very expensive, the Roco, Marklin, Trix models are too short, thanks for sharing.

This turntable is now five years old and it was used on Westfield III, my attic layout, for two years. Then I ripped it out and it sat in a container for two years and I just recently installed it on this layout. As you can see it works great and I have no complaints about the control box which is simple to wire up. I would recommend the Heljan TT if that is any help to you?

Awesome Modelling 👏🏻👏🏻 I Find This Period of The GWR so Evocative, there were Still a Few Remnants of it around, Accompanied by The Last survivors of the Steam Era, when I was Taken on Holidays as a child- This is a Layout that many will aspire to but never achieve (me included) 😉😄

It's a bloody awesome and beautiful layout. At first i thought it was a small layout, due to the sheer amount of fine detail in the first images, but it's huge. A lot of time and love went to make it so perfect. Still going, methinks. I had seen it before, but comments were out. Cheers from Brazil!

I have only recently come across your channel on here, how it has eluded me uptil now I have no idea. Good old KZbin. So is this a 00 or N gauge layout, I am confused after reading the blurb above? No doubt others have asked but what are the dimensions of the loft layout, would also like to know how deep the worktops are either side so as I can get some idea how much I can get in my loft, bearing in mind my layout is in N gauge. Now all I have to do is watch all the others and wait for updates to come out, wonderful. Regards Chris
@Rancidhamster5 ай бұрын
My First two layouts were N then sadly couldn't see details like loco numbers so sold all my stuff and went on to OO. The loft was 7M long 2.4m wide and OO so loads of room for N, I had a carpenter remove all the diagonal trusses and fit 2M by 1M cupboards under the eaves and three vellox windows, also stairs up, see the Westfield III video 800mm left side and 600 mm right as you look from the stairs
