The one-day festivals were just a ploy to make Radio 1 more of a progressive station than the pop station the annual Roadshow made it from 1973-2000. Atypical of big men running the pop music industry and leaving the girls to cry.

Please name the film. I just remember Tony Christie singing this as the background to a UK series starring Robert Vaughan. Tony was a very underrated singer.
